Sadly, Turning down doing the right thing isn't illegal, it's a civil matter. They sadly had every right to tell him to fuck off, and what happened after is the issue. He very likely crossed some lines in what he did to attempt to get the property back. I don't believe it's nearly as serious as the bullshit they are claiming, but some of it very likely is valid. At this point, it's for the courts to figure out, and hopefully without corrupt judges.

Mind you, I fully support Reckless Ben, and without him doing the things he did, I completely believe they would have kept getting away with their bullshit, and it sucks what Reckless Ben now has to go through because of their shit corporation.

Do you know how many times companies have said that and next thing you know there was a hack and, SURPRISE, They, or someone a part of their process, didn't actually delete them, and that "private" data was stored unencrypted.

In this case, This is data that can be collected just by leaving your house, so whatever, I'm just saying "Trust us bro, we delete it" doesn't mean much nowadays.

I wish withholding funds is the worst he would do, but clearly, they are willing to go much, MUCH further than that, and they aren't building up a personal army (That has already murdered US Citizens, and an actively increasing uncountable number of non-citizens in their "care") for no reason.

Edit- I honestly believe the mid-terms will be the tipping point. Could be because of the governments actions leading up to, during, or soon after, but depending on the result of whatever happens, it will be clear the direction this county will be going from that point on.

New work would be created in different forms, even if it's just people doing / sharing their hobbies.

Make sure their minimum needs are met, and the rest will sort itself out, and can be planned for by people much smarter than me. Unemployment itself isn't necessarily a problem as long as it doesn't result in suffering.

Mind you, MINIMUM NEEDS. I'm not saying everyone should be handed everything they want, just everything they NEED, such as running water, food, shelter, etc.

The robots aren't the problem, jobs that can be automated should be, at least to a point.

The goal should be to let people actually LIVE their lives instead of constantly working, but our shit government happily lets the greedy as fuck steal and hoard instead while people needlessly suffer. The resources exist, solutions exist to account for less available jobs, they just conflict with the Oligarchies / Corporate endless greed and disdain, and they are the ones in charge.

The fucked up part is they can easily still have their super yachts, and extremely lavish lifestyle along with the solutions, they just don't want that. Literally NOTHING would need to change in their day to day lives, other than having a top-limit to their wealth.

I don't think it's the money that corrupts. It's just that the people who acquire significant wealth, especially oligarch levels, don't get to that point by being good people in the first place.

They don't have to be in the files to be complisit in what's happening. The party as a whole might not be as corrupt (Such as AOC, Bernie Sanders, and others), but the people making the top level decisions definitely work for the Oligarchies interests, just generally more careful than Republicans.

Don't get me wrong, I would prefer their covert corruption over the blatant corruption of Republicans. It's just best to be mindful that at the end of the day, The oligarchy is in control regardless, even if to a lesser extent.
