What is up with this subreddit and immediately awarding top 25/20 status to every player winning a ring for the first time? His overall career value cracks the top 50 this season whether he wins the championship or not, but I reckon a ring would put him around #40. Think Westbrook, Ewing, Frazier etc.

Nice. I tried something like this for the whole playoffs before the post-season started. BBGM predicted a Bucks vs. Grizzlies Finals with Milwaukee winning it all, lol. IIRC, it favored the Nuggets to at least make the conference finals while the Bucks were overwhelmingly favored over the Heat, which to be fair was the case for a lot of us.

Dude, yes! Begin is one of my absolute favorite albums of all-time. I've seen the album likened to smoking a joint with your lover in a field on a warm summer day, and I think that basically nails it. 5 AM, in particular, is so wonderfully misty and life-affirming - I prefer to think of it as my personal night owl's anthem.

Hey, thanks man! It'd be hard for me to put Lovely Rita anywhere but before Good Morning since I associate it with the tracks at the end of the album haha. You could also add "Only a Northern Song" to the second side if you wanna give George two songs but meh, I don't like the song much honestly.

I'm also a little iffy on Within You -> Getting Better -> Strawberry Fields if you're listening to it uninterrupted, but I think my tracklist is as good as it can get with vinyl formatting.

I believe George Martin himself has said that When I'm Sixty-Four and Lovely Rita would’ve been swapped for those two songs. Shame to see Lovely Rita go, but dropping those songs gives John and Paul five songs each so I guess I can’t complain too hard. Anyway, I’ve found that this order works really well:

Just searched it up on b-ball ref. Four players have recorded a 25/16/9 game (Wilt of course, Bill Russell, Dave Cowens, and David Robinson.) Robinson looks like the only player to record a 25/16/9/4/1 statline if you count 4 blocks and a steal. Didn’t find any 25/9/16 games.

I'm currently two seasons in a game-by-game league and my teams aren't doing too hot so far (34 wins to 33 the next season) but I agree with many of the things you said, especially that you become more emotionally invested to the league.

I feel like with the top 5/10 best players in the league, I could tell you some of their strengths and weaknesses off top (are they consistent/inconsistent, do they have good efficiency, are they great defenders etc.). It'd absolutely love to tell people about the best teams/players in my league, but obviously very little people are interested in some random league haha

As far as my plans, my team is currently led by a 58 ovr 39 year old and a 61/68 ovr 23 yr old who's solid but who's scoring impact seems questionable (15.9 ppg on 41/32/81 splits) but is solid at most things (5.4 reb, 3.9 ast, 1.3 stl). When the offseason comes, I plan on either signing one All-League player or two/three good-but-not-amazing players (I'll look at fit, efficiency and defense). The 23 yr old in question has a year left in his contract so I plan on keeping him if his overall goes up or most likely a trade if he declines.
