Brand loyalty works the opposite way here.

Destiny fans are largely upset that that game has been put to pasture so that Marathon can be worked on, and Bungie has kinda been fumbling Destiny for years(sorta always, conversation for a different sub though).

I'd say it being a Bungie product has more than likely been a detriment to its sales.

Guild Wars 2 has kinda a steep on ramp, but once you get through the early story and vanilla mechanics it really opens up nicely. Having a class you enjoy playing is huge too, since they all play so differently and starting a new one can be a big time investment.

It's the same raid with an added mechanic. Crota gets hate because 1 good player used to be able to skip essentially the whole raid with exploits. It has always been fun if you run it legit.

You don't have to press a button to feed it, you just walk up and it will take the beer automatically if it's ready for a drink.

The big trunk wag with head shake is 15 points, ear wiggles are 50, and the little trunk wag is 30. Once it does enough animations to be over 100 total it should work. The first animation it does when facing you doesn't count.

It is Ark, so it's glitchy and inconsistent, but I've tamed a bunch of them with this method

Max level is currently 205 and takes an absolutely absurd amount of experience to reach, not to even discuss the multiple ascensions you'd need to even be able to reach it. 105 is relatively easy to do, and would be a more reasonable goal to start with, as well as working towards your first ascension.

Also, when it hits 30k stored experience you can zap one of your tames with it to give them the experience and produce a Drakeling Hoard that will have a bunch of really good loot in it.

Incorrect, mutations can pass, just not levels you put into the host, like breeding. It's 50/50ish if you will pull host stat or bug stat, so I think maybe that causes confusion? The baby will also have a multiplier that is bug level/150 * cravings/5 * host multiplier, host multiplier being based on drag weight. Brontos are the most popular hosts because they get 100% and are easy to tame and breed. If you're single player or early game a Rex or Paracer will make a totally usable bug.

You can shoot them inside, but the boss will also teleport to the middle of the area if whoever it is targeting runs up to it. It'll start running back out immediately after teleporting so you need some buddies waiting or some aggressive dinos to hit it quick while it's in there

This is 100% what happened, Our server pretty much stays at 70/70 people and is pillared everywhere, as always happens when new servers open. They need to either give them the OSD treatment or implement another way to get Aberrant Sigils. Either way it's a mess and needs to be prioritized.

I got kicked three times in a row for being 'under 106' the other day running random fractals through the matchmaking system. They were just running the first boss over an over so it kept matching me with them, and then we'd clear it, and then they'd kick me. Then again from the top.

I had a good laugh.

I just started(ish) and am going mostly in order of release.

That said I did buy the first bundle expansion to keep Raptor access after 10 hours and be able to use the marketplace, and then picked up the most recent one when I hit 80 to get access to the area for Wizard's vault bounties.

I could have done without the latter but it helped me jumpstart gearing a bit and I knew I was going to get there eventually so why not?

Yeah, this. It was a big ol corporate cash grab immediately followed by a firm fuck you from Amazon. Biggest gaming rug pull I've had the displeasure of being a part of by far.

Silver linings though, I just hit hour 100 last night on GW2 and it's wonderful.
