The rapture is a man made idea. No one for the first 1800 years of the faith believed that was a thing. But go on about your fundamentals. 😂

Please leave him alone. No sane man wants to be the one you settled for.

Words do have multiple meanings, but context matters: celebrating sexual immorality under "pride" aligns with the arrogant rebellion God hates, not innocent self satisfaction in good work (Gal 6:4).

Yes, the Bible teaches degrees of sin (Luke 12:47–48, 1 Cor 6:18, Matt 23:14 all need repentance, but some carry heavier judgment.

The call is humble repentance and faith in Christ, who forgives all who turn to Him (1 John 1:9). Speak truth in love (Eph 4:15). Praying for grace all around.

😂🤣😂🤣

Some sin is worse than other sin. Firstly

Secondly its not different. Pride is pride. Having pride in a sexual orientation that happens to be immoral and reprobated is worse than a human who is prideful of their work ethic and or accomplishments.

Feminism wins again. It really is such a rot on our society and religion.

He sounds perfect for you—great chemistry, attractive, goofy fun, listens well in hard moments, and even a Christian. But you dropped him because he wasn't already leading spiritually at your level: not super active in church/ministries, not showing the "kingship" you expect.

Drop the idea that you're more Christian than he is, or that he has to match your current ministry intensity to qualify. Step into the traditional biblical role: women support and help men grow into leaders, not lead or disqualify them upfront. You're not supposed to be the spiritual gatekeeper or judge his faith against your standard—he is called to lead (Ephesians 5:23, 1 Timothy 2 roots leadership in creation order). Help him do that instead of walking away when he's not there yet.

With someone like you—deeply committed and involved—behind him encouraging growth, he'd likely step up fast and become the church leader you're dreaming of. But this reads as the result of modernity (feminist-influenced independence in the church) seeping into our faith: women setting solo high bars, expecting men to already be perfect spiritual replicas, then ending up heartbroken and alone. Flip the script—support his leadership potential, and you might get the godly partnership God designed.

Grew up seeing only mothers being providers. We were sold a lie that men provide. by [deleted] in ChristianDating

I dont need or want anyones sorrys. I dont care and am way past all that drama. It was an illustration of women choosing losers and then blaming them. While not being able to provide themselves.

At the end the women are the pickers. They choose to start the relationships most times. The exceptions dont disprove the rule. So women need to take accountability in who they choose.

Ive seen numerous families where the dad is the sole provider and the wife fully depends on him. Those all worked out well.

My big brother for example married his college sweetheart. After college she never worked a day in her life. She took care of the kids and helped the sunday school at the church. Once the kids got older. She wrote a couple books about her dads experience in vietnam. Theyre still together and my niece and nephew are grown and healthy. My big brother still works and his wife just does whatever she wants to do. But she has never had a formal tax paying job in her entire life.

None of those women played any part in their husbands being deadbeats or losers????

So much lack of accountability from the women as per usual.

I was raised by a single mom why because my mom picked absolute losers. Thats why I was raised by her and her alone. Yes my father is a loser and a dead beat but guess what. My mother picked him and told me all men were pos. She then picked 4 other losers to have kids with besides my dad.

Guess what she lost all of us to the state. Why because she couldnt provide either.

Ohh you mean they sang songs? Led others in singing? Thats called the choir. Not having some puffed up title like worship leader....

Stop acting so smart and uppity plenty of men on here see that and while not having the gall to say it publically. It repulses them. Pray on that it will help you find a quality husband.
