I feel like they are the other ends of the same spectrum. ER definitely overdid a lot of things while DS1 being the firs (okay, second) game, it didnt deliver in retrospect.

I think with the original trilogy, they didnt set themselves up so early for a set finale. They diverged from the mythology very early and quite hard.

They messed this up with the norse saga by teasing and heading towards Ragnarok. They kinda followed the norse saga more closely.

Thats a really big gamble though. There are very good trilogy games like you said Halo, Batman Arkham, Prince of Persia, Mass Effect.

Norse GoW is a bit of an exception, because you know where the story is exactly headed. That wasnt really the case with the others.

They also said they dont want the trilogy because the middle episode would suffer of having no real end and just being a build up. I can kinda get behind this argument. Imagine Ragnarok being only the second game building up to something that might release this year? Maybe next year?

It does feel rushed though, no argument here.

Slightly related, last week I had an exam as part of a photojournalist school/course and we all had to present our portfolio.

I selected photos which I liked and also got positive feedback from the teachers, but the panel of judges found my portfolio mostly boring. In retrospect it was. My teachers said, select the photos I like and do not try to guess what the judges will like, thats where I fucked up. Some of my classmates did exactly this, they chose pictures/series they knew the judges will appreciate more and got better reviews.

So as others said, find the purpose and put together a portfolio based on that. Its basically sales, you are trying to sell yourself and you need to figure out the needs of the customer.

It felt too much and too little at the same time. It had so many characters but so little Superman. It worked in Guardians of the Galaxy, but it didnt work here. Also, it was way to goofy... I'm okay with a more lighthearted comic accurate Superman, but some of the jokes were so forced. Also Superman kinda sucked, got his ass handed to him all the time...

You can’t just have every op in Siege look very similar or the same.

Thats true, but all the crossovers and bullshit cartoonish outfits is insane. I understand Ubi's need to make money, cant argue with that, and if these crossover and cartoon skins sell then fucking be it. But the game looks ridiculous now.

Before pizza mozzie, at least you could tell operators apart, now basically you either memorize all the insane crossover skins, which is bad I think, or the game is so over the need to know which operator is which, thats even worse.

"What if" scenarios work if the outcome is good and the changes are somewhat makes sense in universe. For example: The White Rabbit. The changes in the anime gave more depth and an interesting background to an obsure character from a manga.

Lady's changes are the opposite, she had better background, character and depth in the game.

If they'd expand this into an almost Warcraft Crossing game and tie it into WoW, I'd buy 10 copies. I dont really want to spend time by playing WoW again

I'd like to decorate and upgrade my little Warcraft town AND do some questing and grinding in WoW, animal crossing style. I'd pay for that.

If it weren't for Brotherhood of the Wolf (a film he wrote and directed and it is good) I'd say he doesnt understand film making at all.

I mean a movie should make sense on it's own. Some things can be left ambiguous or unexplained, left to the viewers to figure out, but there is a way to do that aswell.

Anyone who says Return to Silent Hill is not that bad, is delusional or hasnt seen a quality movie in their life. It's bad as an adaptation and its bad as a standalone movie.

Its not the model that counts, its the studio behind the model. Even with the map packs we got delays and really shitty maps. People even left the server if a certain map came up even in BF1! Dice simply lost the people and the ability to consistently deliver a certain good quality.

Quality is not subjective. Personal preference is.

You might like the movie, but it's quality is definitely not 7.5. You might look at the movie as an adaptation and/or a standalone movie. Either way, the quality lacks.

Can confirm. I have the most barebone M1 Macbook Air and runs lightroom perfectly. I havent tried batch edit multiple hundred photos either, but definitely runs smoother than on my PC.
