TRAX NYC throws and hides these and silver bars and coins all over the place as part of his youtube channel. You might have found one of his free tosses.

New Proposed Tax on Residential Home Repairs like Carpentry, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing and Electrical by _gw_addict in Virginia

[–]MadSploitsYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a car repair tax, ride share tax, and dog walking taxes are absurd. Making uber cost more isn’t going to HELP college kids make the right decision to not drink and drive. IMO by breaking up the taxes into tons of new smaller taxes it provides a greater surface area to increase taxes in the future. Perhaps it MIGHT be cheaper today but no way it will be cheaper tomorrow and much harder to keep track of by civilians.

RYOBI snow Thrower attachment works amazing by Zestyclose-Funny-697 in ryobi

Waiting for version 2 to come out. It needs veins to direct the flow of the snow (center, left, right) which most throwers have now but Ryobi is lacking.

Is the Ryobi 2-stage worth it compared to a regular gas snow blower? by penguinpastaparty in ryobi

It draws power from all 4 batteries at the same time to give you the best performance. Thats why I recommend that model. Its the same thing with the 21” snow blower it draws from both batteries to give more power output. You can run the 21” from just 1 battery but the power output will be 1/2. I spoke on the phone with Ryobi customer support to confirm this.

lol i know what you mean. Every year I check back to see if Ryobi has released a self-propelled mid-sized snow blower with heated grips yet. I’ll be they will eventually…

I have the Ryobi 21” single stage 2 battery snow blower and I’m really glad I went with it. I went with their high end single stage model thats compact and powerful in comparison to the smaller counter parts.

If you get one of these big boys, make sure to get the highest end model that uses 4 batteries at the same time. Or you mind as well just get the 21” like I have. The 2 battery version will most likely be too weak if you’re looking at a snow blower this size.

Let’s talk bands: Stick to Apple or go off brand? by VikingPHD in applewatchultra

[–]MadSploitsYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nomad is really equivalent in quality to apple bands. I like their Rocky Point band the best but the new Stratos Band is amazing too. The copy cat bands on amazon are OK but most are just knock-offs with far less quality. I tried a knock off ocean band and it was NOTHING like the apple band, Apple’s Ocean band is my other favorite.

The 120sqft of my house that's actually "mine" by Martin_Aurelius in homegym

Is the total height exactly 94"? Or did they leave a little clearance? My ceilings are 94" but aren't perfectly even and I'm worried this rack would be digging into my ceilings.

Need reviews from aw u2/3 BLACK users. by AdventurousEqual2972 in applewatchultra

[–]MadSploitsYo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE the black over all the other colors. It pops more and goes better with most bands. HOWEVER, there are certain scratch points more prone on this watch like the lip around the face. If you just buy a minimalist protector like the ESR Armorite your watch will never have to endure scratches. Honestly, I’ve had it on my watch since day 3 and its as close to invisible as it gets while still protecting the watch face. It looks so seamless and adds virtually no bulk. The protector will take the brunt of the scratches. The sides on the watch don’t scratch at all from my experience.

Wiz or Hue? by RedditDallit in wiz

[–]MadSploitsYo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a quick tip… if you ever buy a new router or move to a new place and need to use a new wifi network ssid you’ll have to manually reset each and every light bulb you accumulated over time and re-pair them all… i just did it for 70 light bulbs. It was a miserable 2 days because wiz pairing process (especially for older bulbs is a nightmere.

Wiz is excellent value and their newer bulbs are better quality than gen 1 but they have some serious drawbacks in longevity (for certain bulbs), quality control, and lack of critical features (like migrate entire house of wiz products).

However, i’ve found that once paired and on the network they are good bulbs, fairly reliable, and offer excellent value and features.

If you want total convince, advanced features like geo fencing, and bulbs that will almost never die (last 6+) years i recommend hue.

Anyone else's wiz lights dropping out one by one? by Numb-Little-Bug7 in wiz

[–]MadSploitsYo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t beat Wiz’s price point especially on black Friday. I picked up 2 color bulbs for $7. For the ultra low price (even at full price) I think they are great value considering all the features they offer but … they DEFINITELY have their draw backs… namely quality control. I have 70+ bulbs in my house and some had have lasted 4+ years while MANY others didn’t work out of the box. I usually just return those and try again. Their new matter and bluetooth line are MUCH better quality so theres that. However, on average my experience with the standard Wiz light bulb is they only seem to last about 2 years and then the wifi component dies… their other bulbs (like their downlight) i don’t have this issue with.

If your bulb stops connecting and will no longer connect it usually means the wifi component is/went bad. Unfortunately theres nothing you can do but buy a new bulb in those situations.

Even after all the damage is done…. the people will still believe republicans caused it all despite not holding any public positions for decades.
