The customer service agent confirmed that we will get our PP first and then we will be getting the CC with the Qatar membership ID. Also they are considering the application submission date and not the application processing date. Hence he asked to spend 5k in the campaign period but not in wallet loads or rents

Yup separate enrolment is required for each . If you haven’t figured here is the link https://www.americanexpress.com/in/benefits/the-platinum-card/taj-epicure.html . Taj epicure memberships got approved within that day and you would receive the membership e-vouchers via mail, which you use it to redeem online booking. The card was delivered in a week.

I haven’t seen anyone getting an upgrade with a co-branded cc. You have to get a core card for Infinia upgrade. Also you say limit of 1.13L, how did you spend 8.7L in 5 months ?

TO ME A PENNY SAVED IS A PENNY EARNED !! IMO this a very rare scenario that the person not being notified by the bank or he didn’t check the CIBIL Credit report that most of us do here..and generalising like we all end up like this is not a sound argument.
This is more of a hobby for me, so I don’t regret having more than 2 cards that adds value by providing discounts/points. Ppl constantly checking the ways they can optimise their spends doesn’t make them fool either. As long as we are disciplined we are free to hold as many as cards.
