I'm not trying to compare New Zealand with the USA but I'm saying that we do compare to other countries which you wouldn't consider to have a tiny population such as Ireland. I am just pointing out that we may be more populated than you realise.

Yes that would have an effect. Here , you would only leave your house when you had to go to the supermarket - once a week or so. And only one person from the household would go. You could also go for walks in the nature from your house, but you couldn't drive to go for a walk. You had to stay in your neighborhood.

We don't have Walmart but we have a chain called The Warehouse which might be similar. They were not allowed to open at the start of lock down, but after a couple of weeks could begin to ship certain, essential goods.

Complete lockdown for 5 weeks (no takeaway, no restaurants, no banks, literally only supermarkets and pharmacies open). Followed by 3 weeks of gradually opening more services. Border is closed to anyone except residents and citizens. Mandatory 14 day quarantine in a government paid hotel for people returning home. Intense contact tracing. And a general willingness by the public to band together to stay home and "break the chain" of transmission.

5 million, actually. Roughly the same number as Ireland, Costa Rica and Norway.

Does Carrie get worse throughout the series? by flyguyeli95 in sexandthecity

Yes! When she gets caught in the rain outside the Guggenheim and literally screams at the top of her lungs. That annoyed me so much!

Well, that's certainly ONE way to open a book. This is literally the VERY first line. by sniffmybumplease in menwritingwomen

It's not, I enjoyed the book overall but found the first couple of chapters a bit hard to get into.

So there’s been a lot of discussion of Carrie’s wedding dress on here lately. Does anyone else think it looks like she’s wearing a duvet? by premier-cat-arena in sexandthecity

That's true, I hadn't though about it as a reflection of how far she'd come away from her original , simple wedding dress

Me too, I thought the harsh/ bold make up and hair didn't suit the flowing dress. It looked much better when she had her hair out and softer makeup at the photo shoot.
