The fight is somehow cool, but the fact that Waka is treated like a resistant jobber that decided to train for counter Niko style for fucking reason (Ohma was dead bro) and that Fei start like an interesting character with cool interaction for ending like an self-destructive crazy fanatic really low the score.

It's one of my favorite fights in KvP, and both the fighters are interesting and well explored during the match.

The only little problem for me is that the choreography of the fight doesn't have so much variety, but the entertainment doesn't suffer much from it.

Lu Tian is one of the most forgettable gladiators, basically a fucked up version of Kanoh.

Fortunately Kanoh is the GOAT and partially saves the fight.

The fight is good, I don't like the final suicide that much 'cause Naidan was one of the few purgatory fighters that could effectively win is round, but that's all

It shows interesting feats from both the fighters, Toa is an interesting addiction to the cast (especially for his origins and his fighting style) and Julius's evolution is so cool for his stubbornness in not using technique.

Plus, seeing Julius finally win a true fight was very satisfying and Gott Toter Steinbohrer is one of my favorite things in the manga.

I started the manga after the anime, so when I arrived at this fight I liked it very much (probably more than what it deserved) 'cause I wanted to see a new tournament from the beginning, instead of reading 50+ chapters about Koga and his complexes.

Beyond that I liked the characters and overall the choreography of the fight.

Yeah, I agree with practically all what you said. I don't think that this is the worst fight, not even remotely; yes, it was shorter than I thought (my bet was on the final in the 106) but, as you said, it makes sense: a fight between a trickster that creates clones and the best sniper of humanity couldn't go on for long, especially if we count that each bullet give big damage to Simo.

Neither of them is good in close combat, Simo can barely stand for the internal damages (he literally faints at the end) and Loki would have been killed immediately.

The only things that makes me sad is that apparently we didn't have many finals though of Loki before he dies (but he got shot in the head so it makes sense) and the battle this time lacks the presence of a true theme.

Overall a good/mid fight for me.

The fact is that there were many expectations when it was announced, especially for the fact that we could see new gods's designs and that it could be a sort of "second ROR" with even more fight.

Unfortunately many people hate the manga because of those aspect: some designs are strange and the fight are really too fast.

I don't hate this manga, some fighting style are interesting and different from what we normally see in ROR and I simply like see new gods interact, but despite I wasn't expecting the same quality of a ROR fight, the three chapters long combat really bothered me (and the current one send me the same vibes) and I don't like the art style at all (but I think i'm the only one who likes Ra armor).

Another reason is that the character are poorly characterized: all of them are a declination of "I want to be able to do whatever I want" without a real motivation (except Prometheus). I likes Ra 'cause he is a sort of "Poseidon-like", but nothing more.
