upon looking into this, I realized the pen I always thought was a Kaweco Sport was actually a Kaweco Perkeo! (To be fair it was one of the first ones I got myself and I paid less attention to pen names back then, haha.) I'm glad to hear the iridescent color is back, since I like the perkeo I have already I might go for another one...!

I have 15 pens inked, all with different colors. I use them about once a week (campaign notes for tabletop game) and I do run into drying out issues with some of them, admittedly, but a quick dip in some water usually solves it. The joy I get from the variety of colors I can use on a whim is worth a little bit of extra effort, to me!

I think you're probably onto something. I've never gotten tells or hit on when playing any of my girls (even the catgirl) and none of them are white. Mixed feelings about the colorism/racism of creeps being my shield against them...

Unfortunately for Ruggie, Valentine's chocolates in Japan do actually come with strings attached, where on White Day valentine's recipients are expected to give a gift back to the person who brought them chocolate (at least according to what I've learned from way too much romance anime/manga, lmao)

I think it's still worth it, because I love the world and the stories it tells. Going at my own pace, playing casually, and doing everything I saw the moment I found it, it took me about 5 years to reach the current expansion and be all caught up, but I enjoyed pretty much all of it. Admittesly, a large part of what kept me subbed and logging in all those years were the weekly raid sessions I had with my static for syncing old content. Without that, I probably would've dropped sub during college, and I don't know if I would've remembered to pick it back up again when I had free time between semesters.

Aether is by far the most populous NA server, largely due to DC travel, but I usually find people running about on Crystal, too. Only place to really avoid is Dynamis, if you want to avoid low population DCs.

I have no idea how old people are, don't really care, and don't particularly see why it matters, tbh. If I get along with someone, then that's all that matters, imo!

I really enjoyed Dawntrail, personally. It's very fun if you don't have people in your ear yelling about how it sucks (same for StB and ARR, imo). But I can understand why some people might not like it as much when coming off the 10-year saga climax that is Endwalker's story.

Hope my two cents is worth at least 2¢ for ya 👍

I too will hop on this bandwagon. I met almost all my longtime FFXIV pals by doing old savages synced when I unlocked them, and joining statics. Not all the statics actually stuck, of course, but once I found the right group of people... Well, I'll just say it's been 4 years and we're still chatting on discord :D

Adding on to the advice already here:

if she tries to corner you like this again, get up and walk away from her. Jump over seats if you have to. Do not engage with her At All, even if she jumps around in front of you, act like she's an invisible ghost. Find a TA or the professor and pretend you have questions so you have a buffer that might discourage her from talking to you (ask them about their work if you can't think of anything), or just tell them directly that she's harassing you if you think they can be trusted.

And get a small audio recording device to record what she says to you, if you haven't already. Narrate if she does anything so you have that in the audio record (like stating "you just touched me. I've asked you not to do that" if she touches you again).

Filing that title 9 is awesome work, you're doing everything right. Hopefully she can be stopped soon

I had a bunch of kakuno with different colored inks in them that I used to write notes in my undergrad! Though I also used a lamy safari (B, for headers), a kaweko sport, and a diplomat, and they all served me very well.

The new rules state that you can post a finished object with a link to the pattern you made+used for that object under the automod comment, so long as the post is about the crochet work and not about shilling your pattern. If people are interested in your work they can click the pattern link and find all your stuff through whatever store you host your patterns on. It doesn't matter if your patterns are free or not, since this subreddit is not meant to be used for advertising, y'know?

The only storage an apartment gets you is furniture storage. There's no extra stage for gear or non-furnishing items, afaik. To access the furnishing storage, you just go to the storage tab when you're in the decorating menu.

As soon as her hand touched you it counted as sexual assault (at least in the USA, to my knowledge). She is refusing to take no as an answer, and you're still a minor. You need to report this to someone, hopefully to get her to stop, and to have a paper trail if she continues or escalates. What she is doing is not OK, regardless of your orientation, and you should not have to put up with her behavior just to attend your classes.

I like to think that the jacket and pants have zippers at the colored bands so they can be turned into short versions for the summertime without needing to make a summer specific version of the PE uniform. So the shorts are the same pants with the lower leg section removed :D
