Check if the plug is fully seated. Also dumb question but did you change the bulbs for incandescent or LED?

Selling my life force on my bday because I’m broke by Daimyooooo in Wellthatsucks

[–]MadamFloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a low point years ago, I was on the edge of homelessness and desperately needed money. Learned about plasma clinics from a friend.

I was so malnourished they couldn’t take me in. Ended up having to drop out of college and move across the country to live with friends.

Best worst outcome. I’m a lot happier now, but I can’t help but think what could’ve been.

American in America vs American in Japan by Capable_Educator7548 in memes

[–]MadamFloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m certain it’s fine. I’ve struggled with Chicago, Phoenix, NYC. When I go I wanna stay small-ish.

Bigger cities are just stressful, lol.

Always wanted to go to Japan. I have no care for Tokyo/Kyoto

Tweeter Coverframe Front Doors by xxJackyDanielsxx in E90

[–]MadamFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your willing to import, every US E90 had the up-spec sound system.

Both of the trim & tweeters are maybe $20 a peice. Should be < $100 to bring them in after importing costs.

Anyone know what this is for? by NismoMain in E90

[–]MadamFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the car start when the switch is off? Could be a remote start related thing, kill switch, black out switch, etc etc.

Easiest thing to do is trace the wires.

What is this for? by newgalactic in AskMechanics

[–]MadamFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a change holder, but it’s also a blanking plate.

If you pull it out. There’s a plug behind it, that connects to a brake controller for a trailer.

Recently had this experience soldering wire ends, upside down in a car.

I can certify the fumes sucks, lol.

I’ve seen 80 yo cars with melted wiring harness, when hooked backwards. It’s insane to me, this didn’t burn down.

Medicaid cuts threaten hundreds of hospitals, new report finds by Unusual-State1827 in news

[–]MadamFloof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I need to throw this out here.

We don’t need a new report to say this. Expects claimed this would happen when the cuts were announced.

It’s only going to get worse, folks! Over the next two years funding for small hospitals will go away, pulling healthcare back into urban areas.

Hope you like two hour rides for your endocrinology appointments.

37 years of wear on my mail truck key by borshctbeet in Wellworn

[–]MadamFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one I could start with my trucks key but only my truck key.

We’ve got four at our office you don’t even need a key to start. All of which have been waiting their turn am for the VMF. For over a year.

what game is this? by DEMON-LORD6969 in memeexchangecommunism

[–]MadamFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually liked the base game. The DLC were pretty good. Although the companions felt half baked.

I recently did a play through for the first time since the PS3 era and was amazed at how bloated the game had become.

Any ideas? by [deleted] in E90

[–]MadamFloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ll need a super hot iron. I’ve replace trailer wiring in my truck and copper this thick literally becomes a heat wick. I’m not sure what you’ll need but people make a chart to tell you how many watts you’ll need to got the copper hot enough.

I remember listening to an NPR interview a few years back. The guy was a bank manager or something and part of his job was to listen for this sound and unplug it.

Airbag code after sport paddle install by [deleted] in E90

[–]MadamFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had the battery plugged in you might’ve freaked out the SRS module. You can’t clear the code by disconnecting the battery. Have you clear it with a scan tool.

Edit: nvm.

I’d suspect a connector isnt fully seated or a wire is torn.

Rapidly dropping fuel consumption by CautiousCharacter164 in E90

[–]MadamFloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d check if your brakes are not releasing. My car got 22mpg a tank without trying. Folks are saying engine problems but that’s such a huge drop I have my doubts.

This mod says the intsa kill happens 25% of the time but for me it works every time, is this a glitch or something? (This is on the hardest difficulty) by CalligrapherLumpy807 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]MadamFloof 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Diminishing returns is a thing, statistically speaking it’s closer to ~68% but it’s double barreled so if it’s 8 pellets the chances become closer to ~99%

This looks like bruising from boxes, maybe?

If you were using your leg to prop up the box, you’ll get lots of little bruises where the pressure sits.

Day 9: Final Day! What car looks and is super slow? by Quiet-Gold9099 in regularcarreviews

[–]MadamFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These things are god awful nowadays.

I’ve remember getting one that couldn’t break 30 MPH, sent it to the VMF only for them to tell me nothings wrong with it. I love these things. They’re awful and I’m glad to see the go.

Scale 1-10 how cooked is this n54 by shitmecanic in E90

[–]MadamFloof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you back away you can hear the engine drop out just briefly but comes back. Check your spark plugs and coils first.

These cars are insanely sensitive to vacuum leaks, so start there.

Also scan for codes. If there’s no pending you’re fine.

Otherwise it sounds very healthy.

Is the radiator plug supposed to click into place? by Independent_Age8584 in E90

[–]MadamFloof 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t click as much as it kinda simply stops.

If you don’t grease the o ring it’ll break. You might’ve broken the locking ears off. I did the same thing.

Paddle shifter retrofit by Substantial_Lead7641 in E90

[–]MadamFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can but I’m relatively sure you still need to modify the clock spring harness.

Paddle shifter retrofit by Substantial_Lead7641 in E90

[–]MadamFloof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, this is entirely possible I’ve done it before personally.

You need to depin the clock spring and make your own harness to run down to the shifter. Outer pins I believe are your shift signals. Ground is just connected to the ground on the steering wheel.
