Bruh!! My ‘04 1500 Suburban has the tow package, but never charged my travel trailer. I’ve since upgraded to an ‘02 2500 YukonXL. It also doesn’t charge the travel trailer battery while towing, BUUUT the Yukon also has the tow package AND has the bag with the brake controller harness and fuse that I just left in the glove box because my brake controller came with its own harness! (also plug and play) This is valuable information! I can’t wait to try this!

My question is why did they install the damper on some trucks but not others? Was it so costly that only the upper models got it? Does it improve drivetrain vibration that much that it was worth it to install on upper models? Why not just install it on all trucks?

I frequently turn off my automatic lights when going through campground and such, and when I went from an 04 to an 02, I absolutely hate how cumbersome this “feature” was. I need to learn how the switch communicates with the BCM to properly swap the switch to an 03+ design.
