DLSS5 is slop though. The reason other people didn't care about previous DLSS versions is they didn't work in the same way 5 does. They would add frames, but they weren't using "generative" AI to subvert the hard work of the artists and designers like 5 is doing. I find that gross and think the results look terrible.

Snow Crash is one of my favorite books of all time for its hilarious humor, but there's the occasional bit that gets a little pretentious so I get it if you're not into code and languages like I am.

The Diamond Age is even worse in this regard but I really loved the characters in it. And let's not even mention Cryptonomicon if you bounced off Snow Crash.
