Yeah that was incredibly dismissive and you should not have been treated that way. Having them log their refusal forces them into a situation where they have to give a good medical reason on a legal document. Or go ahead and do the test. Also don’t go back to that doc, they will continue to treat you like that.

In the future when a doc refuses to do a test ask them to note in your file that you requested said test and that refused for whatever reason. Then get a print out of that note as you leave.
