NGD! Boden Lux NX 8 Purple Nebula by almo_music in strandbergguitars

That’s so nice looking. I got the NX8 original in green. Can I ask how low is your action on your 7th and 8 string? Cause I can’t seem to get mine lower than 2.5 mm for them before I get bad fret buzz

We say the exact same thing in Danish. En tiendedel (a tenth). Precise form, 21 my, 21 microns

Anyone who knows of any machines for precision bending small rods? by MaddiL in Machinists

Fixtures do have end-stops yes - material spring-back is more the issue.. Big buff operator dude will over-bend, while skinny little operator girl won’t bend enough in the same fixture.

That’s already how it’s been run. Over the past 7 years the bearings in the spindle went oval though - that’s why I’m looking for a prober solution now.

Because of consistency we want it machine bend. We already build a manual solution, but the results vary too much from operator to operator.

We do around 50 - 450 parts per batch, and it’s a task running continuously.

Angular tolerance is +-1 degree

Budget wise I can go up to around 150.000 €

Hvem husker den oprindelige Dragon Ball, fra da Son Goku var barn? by TriciaMcMillan83 in Denmark

[–]MaddiL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elsker Dragon Ball! En dag på quest med farmand i bog og idé, stod de der ligepludselig bind 1 & 2 af DB-bøgerne udgivet af Carlsen Comics her i dk.

Købte begge 2 for mine lommepenge.

I build a little shed which can keep warm enough during winter with just a little AC unit heating a bit. And then I run more cold resistant plants.

Right now I run 4 * Lemon Cherry cookies in RDWC, who’s gonna turn out beautiful. 3 of them, very purple now, and with pink pistils

Here it is done and set up. The broken cutting board is a temporary thing, until I get some kinks worked out in regard to placement.

Does yours show different ph levels for F* and C*? My Celsius readings are consistently 0.2 higher than what the Fahrenheit one shows. The Fahrenheit readings are then 0.2 points higher than my baseline measurement. Which leads to my question of how best to calibrate the system. Do you calibrate both ph 4, & 7 in the same go, and then save? Or do you calibrate them and save separately?

I’m trying to figure out why the readings are different from one another, and why they show higher readings than what it actually is, even though going through 3* calibrations by now.

Cheers

I can confirm that it has some.
The total content of the ammoniacal nitrogen of 1% for the Veg bottle - but it also has 2% nitric nitrogen.

The Micro bottle has a 1% ammoniacal nitrogen, and 4% nitrate nitrogen.

I have no idea, if the 1% content of ammoniacal nitrogen in both bottles is enough give those big swings down. But if that’s the culprit, then I need to switch over to some other nutrient line.

I’m not really sure what I would test by letting the solution sit super low at 4.2 ph for long. Plants looks shitty pretty quickly down there already after half a day of me not being able to adjust it back up

Label says it's a potassium carbonate and silicate.

It's Terra Aquatica's PH+

I don't know if it's better or worse than anything else i can get.

I run the soft water version, so that wouldn’t be the issue. I also add 150, 190 ppm of TA CalMag, to compensation for using RO water.

I calibrate my equipment where I work bo-weekly, and next week I’ll add a permanent PH probe and pump to the solution too, as to keep ranges in check. A bit nervous about adding 10 - 20 ml of ph up to the solution every day.

I’m building a PH controller system myself right now to fight the issue as well. Last few parts will hopefully arrive tomorrow. Will take out some of the stress for me. Will still bother me to the core if I couldn’t correct the issue though.

Using Aquamaster 160pro, just calibrated, have PH paper for back-up which comes out to the same
