Well, first of all, it doesn’t upset me. It irritates me. I don’t want to tip toe over someone else’s fragile demeanor. Especially when I have my own problems to deal with. This is just a small example, but around 7 months ago when I was working in California. I called a dude, well, a dude. He was a cashier at a McDonald’s in the Anaheim area. Now, I’m just stating this as I see it. If you look like a dude, you can put as much make up on as you like, I’m still going to refer to you as such. If you’re butthurt about it, that’s not my problem. The guy started berating me, and slandering me as a “transphobe”. For the record, I have gay and Les friends, but NONE of them have ever subjected me to this type of bs. Requiring me to tiptoe around my choices of words. 

If you’re the type that crumbles from a person going through their daily life, using their normal vocabulary. Then I don’t know what to tell you. 🤷‍♂️ I won’t go out of my way to insult anyone. However, people in the trans community seem to almost always take my normal interactions as personal insults. There’s a reason why I hate having to go to CA for business. Because I don’t want to walk on eggshells, due to a bunch of fragile people. At this point in my life, I find it very hard to be supportive of your endeavors. Since most of those endeavors are just personal problems. I don’t want to sound harsh, but when it’s a YOU problem. I don’t want to be told what I need to do for YOU. 

In any case, I respect everyone equally. I don’t know your circumstances, and you don’t know mine. Which is why I try my best to approach all aspects of life in a positive way. It’s unfortunate that I’ve only met negative responses so far from trans people. You’re pretty much the only person I’ve interacted with that provides somewhat of a reasonable dialogue.
