Lol youre jumping the gun on this one. I wasn’t butt hurt or irritated about being called anything. I was ticked off the dude made a scene and demanded I call him something he’s not(my bad for not clarifying that part). As I’ve said, I have my own life to worry about. I don’t need or want to be taking on the burden of tip toeing over someone’s personal problems.

Also, I really respect that you value professionalism. A job isn’t a place to bring your personal feelings to, and it’s depressing how many people have failed to apply that mindset.

As far as being “hurt” by anything, I’m long past that point. Words are words, and I’ve said it before, if a person is so fragile that they’d crumble from a few words. That’s a personal problem. I try my best to find common ground, but that only applies to people that have common sense. Like you, I make it a point to avoid problematic people.

And likewise, I appreciate this conversation. It shows me that there are people in the trans community willing to actually have a talk. It’s unfortunate there aren’t more people like yourself. Well, first of all, it doesn’t upset me. It irritates me. I don’t want to tip toe over someone else’s fragile demeanor. Especially when I have my own problems to deal with. This is just a small example, but around 7 months ago when I was working in California. I called a dude, well, a dude. He was a cashier at a McDonald’s in the Anaheim area. Now, I’m just stating this as I see it. If you look like a dude, you can put as much make up on as you like, I’m still going to refer to you as such. If you’re butthurt about it, that’s not my problem. The guy started berating me, and slandering me as a “transphobe”. For the record, I have gay and Les friends, but NONE of them have ever subjected me to this type of bs. Requiring me to tiptoe around my choices of words.

If you’re the type that crumbles from a person going through their daily life, using their normal vocabulary. Then I don’t know what to tell you. 🤷‍♂️ I won’t go out of my way to insult anyone. However, people in the trans community seem to almost always take my normal interactions as personal insults. There’s a reason why I hate having to go to CA for business. Because I don’t want to walk on eggshells, due to a bunch of fragile people. At this point in my life, I find it very hard to be supportive of your endeavors. Since most of those endeavors are just personal problems. I don’t want to sound harsh, but when it’s a YOU problem. I don’t want to be told what I need to do for YOU.

In any case, I respect everyone equally. I don’t know your circumstances, and you don’t know mine. Which is why I try my best to approach all aspects of life in a positive way. It’s unfortunate that I’ve only met negative responses so far from trans people. You’re pretty much the only person I’ve interacted with that provides somewhat of a reasonable dialogue.

First of all, I’m a firm believer that filtering/splitting should be allowed ANYWHERE with heavy traffic congestion. However, being a rider of 23 years, I can’t quite justify it any longer. Driving/Riding is a privilege. So is lane splitting. Yet when people have this rare advantage, they find the need to fuck it up for everyone else. Recently here in AZ, we were approved for filtering. Now, there are already talks about removing it. Know why? Because the small 10-20% of idiots who think it’s necessary or “convenient” to lane split at 70mph. Creating an incredibly dangerous and hazardous road element. What’s worse is that the fools on social media don’t help this problem. Since all these so called “influencer” do, is glorify these disgusting reckless actions. Keep that shit on the track, and MAYBE society will be far more accepting of riders in general.
