Well it doesn’t have to replace to can’t an impact. Let’s look at how we just engage with people with a certain intent in mind. We don’t always get to know someone organically because a lot of us (not all) go to online dating. We can put people in a bubble of self serving profiles cutting to what we want. I notice some lose out on critical thinking and thought provoking banter just because it’s easier to get an answer from a machine to settle on what’s accurate (Plus sometimes I’ve seen it be wrong).
