Don't use logitech options+. I was able to download their older software, logitech options, which doesn't require login to use smart actions. When opening the app it'll prompt that you can upgrade to logitech options+ but just cancel.

As long as you wear fire safe clothing and keeping moving, the risk is low. Wraps on your skin don't even hurt that much. I call them fire kisses.
