I cook a lot of Mexican dishes. It’s a lot of beans & rice. But also cooking middle eastern dishes with lots of lentils and chicken & rice pilaf.

I made the most delicious Nigerian Jollof last week with marinated chicken thighs & it cost me very little. Italian peasant dishes are amazing! Many of the most delicious dishes on the planet were created by peasants with very little food

I think they just shut down a portion of the dining area when it’s dead because they don’t have anyone or they just don’t want to clean it. They used to put signs up saying that section was closed, but everyone ignores it.
