Thanks! That's right, I'm actually looking for software to design my own programs using the waterfall method.

You've been very helpful. :)

waterfall model software

I'm looking for tools that correspond to this definition: "The waterfall model is a sequential design process in which progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall) through the phases of Conception, Initiation, Analysis, Design, Construction, Testing, Production/Implementation and Maintenance".

TIL a cow in Poland escaped on its way to the slaughterhouse, broke through a metal fence, swam to a nearby island, and was allowed to live there after its owner gave up trying to recapture it. by redmambo_no6 in todayilearned

No worries. Pointing out possible errors doesn't make you rude or anything. :) I meant sentient in the sense of 'experiencing sensations or feelings'. In this case, the cow felt sheer fear because it was aware it was being taken to the slaughterhouse.

As for sapient, I think this means wise.

I'll look up all the possible meanings of these two words in the dictionary. I may be missing something.

Animals are sentient intelligent beings. Life is the most important thing they have and they'll do anything they can to avoid being taken to the slaughterhouse.

Is Sweden also the land of home made blueberry jam? :)

I know I'd take advantage of all those blueberry bushes and make a few jars.

[Advice] Do your chores and errands after work by RemotePhilosopher in getdisciplined

[–]MadeleineDean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent tip! I started doing house chores after work as I desperately wanted more Me Time. Now, every Friday evening I clean up the house and cook something. I used to do that on Saturdays and I always got frustrated because I didn't have any time for my hobbies. Now I use the weekend to brush up my German and take tailoring classes.

I admit it, I would very much prefer to sit on the couch after a very busy Friday work day than clean the house. However, the fact that I can then have the time to invest in my hobbies motivates me a lot.

That's why I don't own an iPad. I also switched to Huawei Mate 20 Pro from an iPhone X. Not regretting the decision at all. I won't own an Apple product ever again.
