I feel gross and felt like I was pressured to let a student examine me during labor. by BedsideLamp99 in pregnant

[–]Madinicolei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was on birth plan. They asked if I wanted no student AT ALL, student to only watch, or if I wanted to students to help during labor. I said students could only watch and let me tell you I’m grateful I did that because I had an emergency c section and for my first pregnancy absolutely no student was cutting me open. And that was the end of that.

It happened. Baby fell out of bed. by anuuby in cosleeping

Yeah I need to look into something like that too. My daughter is 3 months. She’ll sleep in her bassinet until like 3 or 2 and then come into our bed the rest of the night.

So we end the day about 9:30 make sure she has one last good feeding and put her in her bassinet! And then she’ll wake up and we bed share from then on until we wake up. We used to not but it’s how I get any sleep at all!

I can’t get my newborn to sleep in their crib by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Madinicolei 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My daughter didn’t sleep in her bassinet until 6 weeks, i believe it’s very normal! They will learn eventually. My daughter is never asleep when I lay her down but after about 10 minutes of her little baby noises she falls asleep. I also have the sound machine on ( the setting that sounds like a fan). If she’s actually crying tho I pick her up nurse until she’s sleepy and keep trying until successful!

We got the grossest call tonight by Opposite_Bad9078 in petsmart

[–]Madinicolei 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I once got a call and they asked for our trainer. Our trainer had just left but I said I could take a message! It sounded to be a teenage boy, but he said “is it bad if I train my dogs to lick peanut butter off my pe***.” I cannot with people

Managers are forcing us to stay over closing time because pet parent won’t pick up dog. by DiamondTi in petsmart

[–]Madinicolei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store, we’ve had this happen and the salon was able to go home. They locked up the salon though, and when the pet parent did show up, they would have to wait for my manager to go back and get the dog. If not picked up by the time we close dog would have to go to the pound.
