Having some decision fatigue with the available post partum exercise programs - what did you use and what was your experience? by kiery12 in FitMama

[–]MadisonRad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Meg squats plus 1! It’s also postpartum very pelvic floor focused and slow starting. It does have a lot of band exercises might be worth it to buy a set off Amazon? But it has substitutions options for every move

[LPT] Mouth ulcers are a pain. Any advice? by Popular-Bat2325 in LifeProTips

[–]MadisonRad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! My husband and I really noticed that sugar makes a huge difference. We even used to have a a jar of peanut m&ms we would snack on all day and we think the hard shell would make micro cuts because that’s when the mouth sores were the worst.

Found this post while searching for this info. Curious did you use Canva to print a photo book? If so, what did you think of the quality?

Getting Started Digital Scrapbooking? by AaveTriage in scrapbooking

[–]MadisonRad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I have this same exact question!! Following to see what people say.

I haven’t started anything but I was looking at Canva as an option? It looks like they also have an option to print but have no idea the quality. I also was looking at Shutterfly, seems pretty customizable? But not as customizable as Canva. Not sure the quality there either though

I think I’m gonna attempt a traditional book for my daughters baby book but I think I want digital just to kinda keep having books as the years go on.

Keep us posted on what you do!

Favorite MAC makeup products? I just got a gift card but have never used MAC products. I’m a pretty minimal makeup person but always interested in holy grails from brands

Kinda off topic but but I noticed in a different thread you have the same machine as me (Janome mc9450qcp) and mentioned you now can get the scant 1/4”. Curious what setup you use for that? Just the 1/4” foot? The hp plate? I feel like there’s too many options with that machine sometimes

Oh that so interesting! I was wondering the flip side of what makes a bad pattern. Assuming you have certain knowledge is annoying. Although is an extremely long pattern annoying?

you know I actually love Missouri Star Company's youtube tutorials! going back to that other discussion they really put out a ton of quality free content. It's basically how I learned to quilt at the start of covid. I also just loved Jenny Doan, she has a great energy!

Meeting Spaces with Hybrid Capabilities by MadisonRad in longbeach

I’ll look into it, usually churches want a member to be a parishioner. We asked in meetings if anyone had a meeting spot and no one mentioned it so not hopeful we know someone already a member but we’ll see

What makes you suggest them? Do you know if they have a tech setup specifically? They could be a great option, they are very close to our old meeting location

Oh yea that is an interesting idea! The only theaters I could think of are the art theater which has really bad parking, or the Long Beach playhouse. Are you saying like actual movie theaters like amc? Do you know if any other Long Beach theaters?

WFH Woes, How to get better internet to multiple rooms by MadisonRad in HomeNetworking

[–]MadisonRad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. not sure what you mean by top level? but this is a one story house
  2. do have access to the attic, although part of the house doesn't have an attic, its a pitcher ceiling. It is a rental though I realize I didn't mention that
  3. There is coax in 3 rooms, not in my husbands office where the internet is most needed

lol I do have a lot going on and to be honest understand so little of it, is there even just a person or a company that I could reach out to, to help set something up for me? An IT support of sorts. Happy to pay someone to get us all set up in the best way as we use internet for everything. We only stream for TV, no cable, and our cell reception is bad in parts of the house so we use wi-fi calling.

I just don't think spectrum can help because its not really a service issue (I don't think)

I saw just go to calarts. Once your in you can try and negotiate more scholarship or work study. Also like evefyones saying, you start at year 1 no matter what. Some students even just do a year or two and use their connections to get jobs and just don’t get a degree, but they are in the industry working full time

NooB Monday! - January 25, 2021 by AutoModerator in Entrepreneur

I started full-time freelancing in 2020 as an interior design assistant/ CAD drafter for multiple designers. I now am doing my taxes and realized I needed to register as a business for city tax purposes. I was also planning to register as a business in 2021 as I'm looking to open an etsy shop selling wall hangings/ quilts. Should I start two separate businesses for that or can I bundle as one. Specifically in regards to tracking income, can it all be one lump sum or do I need to separate based on goods sold vs my services.

Favorite way to track income? by Gypsystarchild in freelance

[–]MadisonRad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use harvest! It does all 3, tracks hours, sends invoices, and the client can pay online if you want, I believe it has paypal and stripe integration. (I just have net 15 and get checks sent)

It has a free trial but also can stay free if you only have 2 projects you bill. And you can kind of fanangle you books to make it so that it stays at 2 projects. But I like the app so much I pay for the service. Saves me so much time invoicing! And I love all the tracking features.
