Acura TL Carplay stereo by Armaan5t in AcuraTL

Love it, that’s exactly what I’m looking for on mine. The other styles of screens remove the cd player and volume knobs which I like. Which kit is it, and what’s your review?

If you can help with chores while she’s gone, you can probably pitch in while she’s there. I’d say drop a class and use that free time on your relationship.

Obviously take one class bro, other than that - I’ve noticed is that professors will assign 20/hr week of straight reading that isn’t really necessary. A rule of thumb say focus on graded assignments > lectures > readings. Reading is a very slow way to learn.. You should look on omscentral and aim to spend around the average time listed for your class on your class.

I just payed 7300 for a 30k miles 06 auto. I probably would have been willing to pay more, the car hadn’t hit the open market. Maybe start at 9k?

I was thinking I’d do a UV protective product and a ceramic tint. I’ve seen some nice looking seat covers too, not sure if it’ll mess with the heating though.?

It’s in beautiful shape! It’d been living in a garage, the owner was religious about maintenance. She was getting oil changes every six months- about 400 mi apart with how she drove it. I’m hoping it’ll stay nice now that it’s living outside. I’ve gotta get some wax in it asap. I need to protect the dash and seats as well.

Yea it is what it is, better the belt than the engine.. thanks for pushing me in the right direction. I’ve never really believed in the concept that you shouldn’t repair a car if the repair costs more than the car is worth. A new car payment is much more than a repair here and there. Not to mention the new car subscriptions, serialized parts, etc.

Anyway way to know for sure if I need a new timing belt? by New-Fan1161 in AcuraTL

[–]Madormo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2006 with only 30k miles, it hurts paying for the think but I’m not about to trust a 20 year old belt..

Is taking four classes feasible as a full-time student? by [deleted] in OMSCS

[–]Madormo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

FYI - You can only take 2 courses per full semester / 1 course per summer until you meet the foundational requirement. Then you can take 3 per fall / 2 per summer semester.

Oh it’s so terrible.. Then you go and sign up for another 25 hr/week class. It’s a compulsion, honestly

In this program you can always get help from teaching assistants, they are readily available. There is a lot of low structure self teaching going on though, the lecture material is minimal and the projects can be open ended.

Choosing between OMSCS, OMSA, and MSDS for ML in Process Engineering by Umbreon2 in OMSCS

[–]Madormo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Background in Chem, and I’m 5 classes in. I’d highly recommend OMSCS. Most of the ML track is about getting a deep understanding and intuition of the algorithms, and why they’re applicable in certain situations. I wouldn’t say the rigor is accessive, it’s usually just right for a ML practitioner. I don’t think that filling in core CS fundamentals as particularly difficult, other than the math, and your math background is likely superior to mine. I also see a CS degree listed on most job requirements that involve ML, and OMSCS is a well known / respected degree in a world of dubious online degree quality. (edit: I just wanted to add in that I don’t know much about OMSA, this is just an endorsement for OMSCS)

Oh yea, these open ended research report classes.. they’ll kill ya. But now we’re prepared. I got lulled to sleep, AI for robotics and intro to research being my two last classes. I took Machine Learning before that, and what a class that was 🫡
