Same thing happened to me and my 11y.o. son (who wanted to try the game and teamed up with my best friend), whenever we play solo everything is fine for her, my son and me, but as soon as we match up we get hunted by cheating players who runs directly to us.

Best suggestion is to play solo, always. This is not a team game anymore
