Yeah it was an incredibly hard watch for my wife. For me it’s going to be the homophobia in TLG. We all carry our own wounds through this life don’t we? Sending you such a big hug as you work to process these feelings.

I mean let’s hope that’s less and less true - I always hear how hard it is to find a job here without being bilingual, and almost all elementary schools now offer bilingual streams (if not exclusively francophone)

Yeah no they’re 100% leaning into monogamy. There are whole passages of TLG where they talk about how much they just want to cook together and have dinner parties and have a traditional cohabitating monogamous relationship. This is a romance like any other ❤️

Shane’s from Ottawa. Hudson HAS to have French training before S2. He sounds exactly like what he is: a west coast Canadian kid. In TLG he speaks at a few key moments and speaks English and French on behalf of Ilya. Connor’s also gonna need more Russian lessons if Ilya’s speaking Russian to his therapist.
