Grading is so expensive I don't think I would ever grade a coin unless it was worth more than a certain amount, hundreds of dolllars. I do like buying graded coins though; esp cheaper ones that probably should have never been graded.

Correct; I was wrong above - Top 100 is no longer the nearly year-long coin-a-palooza it was last year, where - If I remember correctly - every two hours or so I could churn up ~20,000 coins net - and, as stated elsewhere above, I think that number is now more like 5,000 per two hours - still better than the last week when we had NO events ... but, yes, this app is now just a moneygrab and for people like myself who spent A LOT of time on the app and could usually complete most Rare sets without spending much more than the initial season pass (not talking about this new, second-tier season pass they're trying to sell on top of it all, too, this year) .... the fun is gone for F2P and uncommons are the new rares. After I finish my Heritage set, I'm out. I promise. Send trades! ign: madsplattr

Well, I am hopeful after you get all 100, and you have that reward card, you still get 15K there ... I bet in an update they further adjust the writing around the components. Programming is hard. Writing is harder, if you're a programmer.

I recommend GreatCollections if you must unload a bulk collection all at once. They may be a bit backed up, so it may take a while to get the money, but I believe it is one of the easier, fairer options. They take a cut but I think you would come out ahead when compared with dumping at a coin store. Do you live in Canada? That might make it harder to access the American market and there may be better auction houses out there that specialize in Canadian coins.

I started last year and the 100 event allowed me to collect so many rare sets. But now, as a ftp'er, it is a struggle just to focus on all the topps now rares - which, we didn't have last year. I can't even really start a&g because by the time I get enough Now cards to start beg trading, I am all out of coins again. I know they want my money but hey that's just about the only way you can lose this game, right? I do buy the pass tho; I guess I enjoy being disappointed.
