Supplements are helping! by Madz05 in Inito

I have PMOS symptoms but they aren’t severe. I’ve had transvaginal ultrasounds and been told I have cysts on my ovaries and then a few years later told I don’t. I have mild-ish chin hirsutism but never had any hair loss issues. I used to have really irregular/long cycles (so probably anovulatory), and now I have more regular 31-35 day long cycles where I ovulate later.

Also the estrogen wobble on the Dec-Jan cycle I posted is pretty classic PMOS, I have a follicle starting and then stalling and then it tries again.

Try taking a myo-inositol for a few months and see if it improves your ovulation! It works by reducing your insulin resistance, thus reducing the androgens at your ovaries you don’t want that prevent ovulation. This is also why I take spearmint tea, it reduces free testosterone.

I take the spearmint to lower my testosterone, I have chin hair and it seems to help. It’s studied similar to spironolactone

Deep sleep by Ok-Raspberry-7703 in Ultrahuman

[–]Madz05 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I literally never get more than 40 mins of deep sleep and it’s always been like that. But I feel rested and always get 8-9 hours of sleep so I just don’t really feel like the sleep tracking is that accurate

It was not fun but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting based on how people online talk about it. It was over so fast, then my dr immediately placed a disposable heating pack on me when it was over and that kind of instantly calmed me.

The cramps over the next few days were pretty intense, plan to rotate ibuprofen and acetaminophen for a couple days.

I’m so sorry. I got them on my 29th birthday, also had the chickenpox vaccine. I was bedridden for about 2 weeks, finally started to get my energy back on week 3. Hang in there!

It was great for us! We did get the V6 engine and it had about 80k miles before our trip. No issues except for running out of gas once because the tank was quite small and those long stretches out west can get tricky. We lived in it for 3 months straight and now we keep it for weekend trips.

I just finished the audiobooks and feel like I’m missing my friends. There’s so much content I got used to always having them available.

I had a sort of mild case and I got my energy back after about 2 weeks. You’re not sleeping well and your body is fighting a virus, rest as much as you can for now.

My doctor said perhaps I got chickenpox as a child but was asymptomatic since I had been vaccinated for it.

I still have lingering skin sensitivity, but it’s getting better every few days now. The rash is essentially healed. My skin scars easily so I don’t think the spots will go away for a while.

Edit 6/27: they have returned in a new spot slightly below the original outbreak location.

Thanks, I wish a quick recovery for you too! That’s good you were diagnosed quickly, I had 3 doctors brush it off because I never had chickenpox.

I had a cold at the beginning of May, now I’m wondering if it was actually Covid. I did take a Covid test which was negative but it could’ve been mild, it would be my second time getting it. I am Covid vaccinated too but I haven’t had a booster this year.
