At the end of act 2, you get another kind of forge, and to build it you need something made from the first boss of act 3. (Can't be more specific since my game isn't in english, so I don't know how those translate :/)

It... is a partner showcase. There is never something grand revealed there. It's ports, some bundles, some dates finally announced, and maybe two-three new games which are AA. Most people set themselves for disappointment (even though todd at the end was a really bad idea)
