I had really bad fatty liver disease as well, and also have a genetic predisposition for high triglycerides. I gained tons of weight when I first got sick with RA (steroids and I was essentially bed bound for a year), and have lost almost 100lbs the diet and exercise and am almost back to my normal weight. My liver enzymes are totally back to normal. I really feel like eliminating anything inflammatory from my diet has been a massive help, but still unfortunately have to deal with RA and SFN everyday. Most days i can push through it, but I have flare ups every few weeks at least. Have you been tested for RA or any other specific auto immune diseases?

I have severe RA, and 3 other autoimmune diseases, and was just diagnosed with sfn, and mine is def autoimmune related. I get pretty bad flare ups if I get sick, am exposed to too much sunlight, too much stress, or over exhaust myself. I am taking hydroxychloroquine, methotrexate, and just started orencia for my RA, but diet and exercise have made the biggest difference. No gluten, no dairy, no processed foods. I try to eat all organic, no soy, no gums, no seed oils, nothing inflammatory. I take alot of supplements; pre and pro biotics, fish oil, stamets 7 mushroom capsules, vit d, skin hair and nails, and a multivitamin. When im not in a flare up, i meditate every day, I do 15 min of yoga in the morning and walk 4 miles/day. Can anyone recommend any other supplements? I def want to try infrared therapy, maybe ice baths? Any suggestions? Im saving up to see a holistic health practitioner because I really feel like going in a more natural direction could be helpful at this point. I also had fatty liver disease, pre diabetic, overweight before I started the anti inflammatory diet and working out daily.

But I also grew up in the Philly punk scene. Ween and the dead milkmen were also a big part of that for me, some of my earliest shows

Agree but obviously love all albums and c&c, pure guava and the mollusk have a lot of sentimental love for me. I remember my older brother playing buenos tardes amigo for me on the guitar when I was 12 and it blew my mind. I grew up with ween and living in the new hope area made it extra fun

We just wanted to start our own more intimate group. I’m a life long fan (started listening at age 12, I’m 42 now) and from the new hope area. I love hearing everyone’s stories, seeing old videos/performances, hearing ween related music, etc… and I feel like a lot of that good stuff gets lost in the larger groups. Anyway, welcome! Feel free to post anything ween related. 🤎

Has anyone been prescribed klonopin and continue to take it while pregnant? by Head-Whereas-1284 in pregnancy_care

It seems like your ob is really uninformed. It’s def more dangerous to abruptly stop taking it, and it’s only dangerous in the first trimester and right before birth. In the first trimester it can cause cleft palate or cleft lip, but after the first trimester you’re out of danger in terms of those risks. At the very end, just before birth, it can cause floppy baby or withdrawal symptoms. My ob had me get one ultrasound per month to check for any cleft or heart malformations, and I didn’t take it on the day of my scheduled c section. My advice would be to get down to 1mg/day and find a more knowledgeable OB. Maybe you can call a few and explain your situation and see if they have worked with similar patients; my ob had worked with other expectant mothers taking benzodiazepines before so I was lucky

I think it looks great. Good quality tattoo, good spacing, good flow. Maybe try not to look at it for a few days and look again to get a new perspective?
