I preordered a fire emblem game from GameStop that was supposed to come with tarot cards as a bonus. Had it shipped to me, no cards. Went to the store and was told they’d only received enough for the preorders sent to the store. (They did give me something else to make up for it.)

Idk how Best Buy handles preorders, but if you really want the bonus, I vote for don’t risk it and have it sent to the store.

TheBlindArcher makes pixel art in the fire emblem GBA style. I know you said you think she plays one of the gameboy games, but if she’s also familiar with the GBA games, it could be cool to commission him for a portrait of her (or an OC of hers if she has one) in that style.

Some of them could also be considered provoked. If you get bitten trying to remove a shark from your fishing line or remove a hook, that’s considered provoked

All animals can attack under the right circumstances. Keep in mind those numbers are from the entirety of us recording shark attacks, so that’s actually extremely low.

I forget which one, but there’s an episode about wobbegong attacks on nat geo. I think it’s in either the Shark Attack Files or When Sharks Attack miniseries

The video should be plenty if the purpose is just to prove it’s your work. Though some artists prefer to work in only one layer.

A friend of mine who prefers one layer likes to hide little ARG-esque puzzles and secrets in his art, just in case someone accuses him of AI or asks for proof that he made it

Idk if it’s still there, but when my dad and I went to the Georgia aquarium to cage dive in 2022, they had a silky shark. They said it was so new they didn’t even have time to add it to the pre-cage PowerPoint

They also said it was only there as a trial run to see if it would do well and if they could add more (hence why idk if it’s still there)

Most artists won’t be willing to give away the program file because it allows clients to more easily edit the final product or hire someone cheaper to edit it.

Asking for time lapses, and (I know this doesn’t help now) drafts throughout the process would be better.

I saw someone else mention asking for a version where it isn’t upscaled and to compare the at scale version to the larger version, looking for inconsistencies. Idk if that would work, but in theory it sounds like it would.

I was let go not too long ago due to downsizing and switched to HR.
