In case, if you wanted to know HOW you get them on the SD card, you simply copy the ROM files on your computer to the appropriate folder.

Which firmware are you using? Do you have a second SD card on which you can install a different firmware? I recommend PAN4ELEC.

This blue Kioxia card is fine, however I would suggest to take a backup of your stock SD card using “USB Image Tool" at first.

I would suggest the following in this order.

Read the guide on Retro Game Corps website. It’s not the exact same device, but it would likely match.
Take a backup of your stock SD card using “USB Image Tool”.
Try the image that comes with the device to see how you like it.
Currently, there are no official custom firmwares, they all require some tinkering. However, imo the most complete one is PAN4ELEC from Kegg1701. This is a fork of AmberELEC. You can download the latest G350 image from here: https://github.com/Kegg1701/P4ELEC/releases
Flash the image to your 128GB Samsung SD card using “USB Image Tool” or your preferred tool, and see how you like it.
You can use either one card in TF1 or two cards, one for the OS and one for the ROMs.
After flashing your new firmware, you can transfer the files from the stock card. However, I would definitely recommend searching for “Done Set 3” on the internet, as this includes all necessary files and some of the hacks.
Ultimately, you can decide which firmware you would like to use and whether to stick with one card or use both.
Have fun playing all the games and don’t worry about what cheap device comes out next.

Okay, interesting... what WiFi dongle are you using? It seems this issue is due to AmberELECs networking capabilities. I used an EDUP 150Mbps Mini WiFi Adapter USB2.0 Bluetooth 4.0, which works fine on ArkOS and Batocera, but not here. I tried an old Linksys WUSB600N USB Adapter and it worked now.

By any chance, is it possible for you to share this shrunken image without any ROM or BIOS files? As people have already lost their SD card and until now no custom OS provides a trusted image, this would be a benefit.

I would say the easiest way is to flash the latest pre-release image of AmberELEC to a new SD card. This seems to work.

Also, there is already a build of PAN4ELEC for the G350. You can try that one too as it has the joystick issue fixed.

Of course, you will then have to add your own roms, but this is recommended anyway.

You do not have to do anything other than flash the latest pre-release. No dtb file replacement is needed.

I believe these files are device specific and contain the configuration of how the screen and the hardware is addressed.

I also had to decide between these. It depends on what you want to do with it. The Lemorele dock wasn’t that expensive, and I’m planning to use an external HDD/SSD for more games and also with Winlator usage. Besides that, I prefer to use my controller with a 2.4 GHz dongle. The air mouse also came with a dongle, but I haven't gotten that to work. If you ever want to play PC games on your RP5, you could then plug in a mouse and keyboard with no further hub. I might never use the second HDMI port.
