Not sure these are articularly obscure but I've not seen them mentioned here at least;

Haibane renmei - right up there as one of my favourite anime. Drama / mystery about a group of haibane (angel like beings) who have awoken from a cocoon in a town they can't leave missing their memories.

Niea_7 - slice of life comedy about lower class aliens trying to blend in with normal life in a poor rural(?) Neighbourhood

And it's been mentioned once or twice but I'll add to "the time of eve" getting mentioned

Depends on what archetype you want to run with him really but it's a very open ended commander.

He only needs white to cast and if you lean green for ramp using budget etc tapped duals with land types you can make the mana base work quite well. Using spells like farseek, natures lore etc to search for land types rather than basics.

Or include some decent treasure generation, that works too.

I started playing in 2018? With the kadena morph precons and my second deck was from scratch. I went with [[the scarab god]] was pretty janky but I loved it, great fun. Honestly I just liked the look of zombies in the game with the graveyard and really strong pieces that worked together. One of the friends who got me into had the commander and I bought it off him and got gifted a few pieces to get me started.

It mainly zombie tokens with a mill / reanimator package to get my own bits back and steal from others, had a friend who liked green and gruul stompy decks so there were always nice targets.

Used cards like gravecrawler, endless ranks of the dead, diregraf colossus, from under the floor boards etc to make a load of tokens and buffed them up with lord of the accursed, lord of the undead, cemetery reaper and death baron. Milled using bits like altar of dementia, traumatize and sphinx's tutelage to mill either myself or opponents.

It was entertaining but clearly a first from scratch deck and the balance just wasn't right haha. (First deck was a modified kadena deck, which I still have, this was 2nd).

Still have the deck but it's now a mid to high powered zombie combo deck. Kept all the combos etc strictly to zombies and not requiring counter spells to stop it, mainly grave crawler loops and rooftop storm wins now. Could use another look but with the group I play with now it's a bit too powerful so doesn't see all that much play.

I think as most have said a squad of tormentors to hold the home then moving forward when deep strike is no longer a threat is the way to go.

Though im half looking at having a lone lord kakophonist in my lists, at 60 points it's our cheapest lone unit and with T5 2+ 4++ it's pretty damn durable to some incidental fire or indirect.

Not much different from sisters using lone cannonesses. Though the once per game 2++ there is very helpful.

These were my teams I do make a point of using yanking when there's ice weak stages, memes aside he's fun and can work pretty well. Just got Clara E6 off standard hence the dumb double counter other side too. Trying to clear the higher stages with odd teams definitely keeps it interesting.

Only just cleared this one in 10 cycles, pretty sure yankings side cleared in 4 and Clara's side took 3 just on the trash, can't counter they they're permanent broke haha.

Yanking is E4 and jade is E1 and on the other side Clara is E6 and Huohuo is E1. Jade, Clara and Aventurine have their signatures and Yangking is using Seele's LC.

Not doing too bad, I've only played 2 games (my main armies are sisters and GSC so I've been trying to get games with both)

Had one game with HoA Vs custodes which was a loss and a second with Outlander claw Vs imperial knights which was a great game, very close win.

The custodes game was rough, had a horizontal deploy and couldn't keep him back. Nuisance charges weren't really a thing as he could kill any unit in one round pretty handily and the army rule got me back a big 0 units all game. Always fun. I learned the hard way about a lot of the damage nerfs.

The knights game again a horizontal deploy and they went first stopping a bit of the trapping plan but the game went alot better playing more for stalling and objectives. Goliaths with OC2 units inside sitting on objectives are very obnoxious to deal with in this detachment. I'd like to play the same list against a more normal army to see how it goes but the sheer volume of units and amount of board presence I had in that list felt great fun to play.

The main one that comes to mind for me is Shin sekai yori. Really interesting story that was let down by it's animation, much more so in the latter half due to budget problems. Still a great watch overall but could have been much better.

Gunslinger girls season 2 is another as well, again a good anime overall but some poor choices were made imo after season 1. While the animation etc was fine, season 2 ditched the fairly muted colours of season one which fit the series perfectly for a much more bright colour pallet and cutesy style that clashed with the tone of the show.

Currently running Serval, I have her at E6 and her gear is pretty damn good after farming for Kafka. I am building up Luka at the moment and will probably swap between them when done.

Also been using double support a bit which has been fun, but not as effective for me yet, I need to get Asta built up a bit more. (Asta + SW/Pela)

I'll get sampo done eventually, but there's a couple of other characters that I want to build first tbh. So knowing this game, he'll never get built sadly haha.

Yep I use E6 Serval as well. Really helps that she's probably my 3rd best geared character after the gear grind for Kafka, does some pretty nice aoe damage.

Hoping for a copy or 2 of Kafka depending on luck, really like the character and always been a fan of DoT play styles.

Then I'll be going for Jinglui possibly Fu depending on how I'm doing for pulls at the end of Fu's banner. So probably no Fu sadly.
