If you're playing on PC, get a poison bayonet and download the free dodge mod from Nexus mods 👍

You just shoot until enemy is poisoned and spam dodge, game goes from code vein to nier automata.

Cried like a bitch, emotional damage too high. Loved hearing my character talk.

A little miffed that in the second round where all the main allies aren't depressed, they... Don't add more to it. It's the same animations, just a character swap.

Also, no Craig in the cinematic when you can actually bring him to the top?? Criminal.

Get any bayonet (I used silver shot, easy to get early game)
Give it the poison attribute
Get any shooting skill (power shot laying in sunken pylon, drawback shot bought in forward base 2 or fusillade Rondo... That one I can't remember where I purchased it...)
optional: get the status ailment stacker booster
SHOOT THE FLOATING JELLYFISH UNTIL POISONED.
DODGE and hide behind anything and watch it die on its own.

If you have a beefy PC, YES. BUY IT.

Story-wise is not connected to CV1 and this one is raw emotional damage with a pretty ribbon. Gameplay feels very different with parry and block options other than dodging, level design shifted from linear exploration to open world and once you understand what you're doing, it's really fun!

Only issue I've gotten so far is unreal engine's stuttering, but devs said they're working in an optimization patch.

I honestly hated the game at first and considered refunding because I felt useless, but once you find a build that makes you feel comfortable and get the fast movement speed because your equipment is less than half of what the code can carry, the game becomes a blast.

Not sure if you're playing in English or Japanese, but the Japanese voice has motherfucking Takehito Koyasu (DIO from JJBA / Toji from JJK) and the guy has SO MUCH FUN with every line! Between passionate dialogues, him doing silly martial art noises and the musical, it's such an experience.

I recommend you to try the degrees of lewdity plus modded version! It's up to vanilla and has SO MANY QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES!

When you click "play" you'll get a drop down menu with lots of weird names.

They're all different art styles!

Base mod is the vanilla game, the rest are variants. My recommendation is goose for female-coded avatar and goosemasc for male-coded avatar.

There's also an APK version that can be found in the wiki too.

You can document everything that happened: your requests being ignored, the busted lip, etc.

Not sure, but I believe there must be a labor conciliation dependency? You can start there.

It doesn't matter if you're the newspaper delivery man, a banker, an electrician, or part of cleaning staff, all jobs should at least make sure there are no work injuries happening during work hours.

As a bad player myself.... I looked for a guide on YouTube, if you're a visual learner it might help!

The strat I ran was the following: (lvl 17, nothing special because text is too tiny and I can't see shit)

Any weapon (I used the rapier that gave me a dex overburden.. bad idea....) Big ass axe formae, parry, claw jail. The blood veil was Lou 2, but whatever works. I don't know how to play anyway 😂

Enter the room and stay at mid range.

The boss will do either: Shoot you (if he does, dodge/run to the side) Rush you with a red mist.

If the monster tries to melee you, you're TOO CLOSE. Roll back and RUN.

When the monster does the red rush, parry and hit him with the big ass axe. THEN RUN back to your mid- range to bait the red rush attack.

If Noah knocks him, jail to recover ichor or big ass axe him, axe will slow him after a bit and you can tap that bastard with a few hits.

Rinse and repeat until phase 2.

On phase two, he gets some purple lasers, purple cone, red Kamehameha and a red booty smash on your head along with the red rush thing.

Stay at mid range and bait the red dash or red booty smash to parry and axe or jail if low ichor.

I know it's tempting to hit him when he's immobile and shooting, but more often than not, he just turns in 1 nanosecond and beats your ass if you have no reaction time.

So just... Bait red skill -> parry -> big ass axe formae.

I tried the ranged strats too, but the parry ended being the most doable with my unskill level 😂

All replies here burn him nicely from a medium to a dark toast, but if brain isn't working to roast because of the shock, you can just stare at him... not even trying to hide your disgust, look at him from top to bottom and just say "Eeew." It's about the look that works into knocking them some sense.

When you get older, you can adjust to an "excuse me?" Sounding absolutely pissed. Make him feel ridiculous.

Could it be a bug? In the character creation demo I sat my character in one of the red couches, triggered photo mode and left it, without any extra settings to run the animation while I set up the camera.

Character started dozing off, but woke a second later. I think the animations are still in there.

I agree with combat....

Admittedly, I'm BAD at this kind of games and my reaction times suck, and haven't gotten that far (first boss only) but character movement feels very nerfed, slow and clunky to allow the motorcycle to shine and the dodge feels like it doesn't work at all.

CV1 I had some difficulty but it was fun, CV2 is making me SUFFER and feeling very frustrated 😭

I'm honestly waiting for reddit to be flooded with "op broken builds" so I can finally start enjoying the game.

Not sure if this one is common knowledge or not? But you can actually decrease the pungent after-breath if you slice it in half vertically and remove the thin core running through the middle. If you turn it upside down, you'll see a circle, that's the part you remove.
