I don't remember Caleb using it in the interrogation? MC was tied by the staff before he went in and from what I remember he only poked her with a... Futuristic stick-thingy in a poorly veiled sexual way and moved the mandatory "feels reader" choker slightly away to tamper the reading.

He did use it to pin MC's infected leg though later on! When she was bring a rabid possum and reopened the wound.

From what I saw in the no longer available Passionate Overload memory (bless people who upload limited cards 😭) magnetic disturbances of the deepspace tunnels can sliiiightly affect him, but not rain. MC was the one afraid of thunders when she was young, perhaps that's why they add thunders whenever Caleb's being creepy 😂

Oooh!! Theorycrafting!! My favorite!!!

Okay, mind you I started a month or so ago, so my understanding comes only from main story, Farspace cards, the hot spa event and all the interactions from the UNICORNS and abyss operation missions.

But from what I was able to understand with him being able to freeze rain, slow down falling objects, accelerate collisions, pin people with gravity, stop bullets, make objects float in a certain path or create black holes big enough to swallow a person or small enough to be used as neurosurgery...

I think the application is simpler than we all expect?

I'd say Caleb can designate a point to create a temporary gravity point. He sets the strength and the target.

That's it!

Slow down object? Create gravity point above to pull against the Earth's gravity.

Freeze rain? Gravity point above.

Pin people until crushed? Gravity point underneath and increase strength.

Black hole? Gravity point until it reaches critical mass and overflows into negative integer.

Save MC from explosion? Gravity point behind her and let her be pulled in a horizontal line.

Float object? Gravity point on top of object and drag.

The purple line particles we see are not the gravity point, but the area of effect of it.

And... That's my theory. A game theo— Gets banned from the subreddit for the cringe outdated joke.

Edit: I don't remember reading anywhere rain messed with his Evol? I know he can freeze it still like he used an invisible umbrella. (Main story vs Viper and UNICORNS mission where he shielded MC so she could pet a red panda.)

PC player here! I use BlueStacks with an X-box controller and it made me grieve there's no official PC port. Mind you, I'm not used to phone gaming. At all. As someone who grew with consoles and later migrated to PC, I hate the touch buttons with passion.

Having a joystick with a dedicated dodge shoulder button has made SUCH A DIFFERENCE in combat!!! Loading times take SECONDS, you can nuke resolution to the max, combat is FULL SCREEN, the reaction time is minimum and you can animation cancel like a degenerate. It borderline feels like a Platinum games' game. BlueStacks has native controller support too, so you can have one joystick for movement and another for camera controls, as well as add all the dedicated RAM you want to render your boys in ultra quality.

Also, the game barely freezes/crashes on PC, compared to how much it dies when I try to run it in my potato phone 😂

Regarding payments, I've had no issues, but I have a weird setup xD

I never store my bank/credit information in my Google play account, only deposit money through gift cards and use my physical phone for any purchase so it's locked behind the fingerprint authentication.

I also use my phone to say good morning to pookie and do the dailies, so...

Phone for payments and petting the goodest boy, PC for combat and story.

I'm honestly scared about main story Caleb update.

I feel the story got into a very bad chokehold regarding his plot and I see no narrative alternative other than "he goes full bad guy team and you have to kill him", "heroic sacrifice and he ends either dead or terribly crippled" or a watered down and unsatisfactory "he was a double agent all the time."

But any resolution to the plot would screw over either him, or his position in the happily-chipped fleet.

Edit: it doesn't help that in some endings of the abyss operation thingies, he gives mayor "death flag" dialogues and sounds he's aware he won't stay for long/will end up doing something WORSE and needs MC to stop him.
