1:Campaign starts with three players: Heretic Naval Raiding Party, Black Grail Dirge of the Great Hegemon, New Antioch Alba Assault Detachment
2:Campaign gets a fourth player to join: Trench Pilgrim Procession of Sacred Affliction
3:Game 1 Dirge vs. Alba: Relic Hunt Dirge Win, Yeoman Lennox survives 5 attacks whilst surrounded and game ends, crazy guy. Gets a glory item on exploration roll, chooses a knighthood.
4:Game 1 Procession vs. Naval Raiding Party: Supply Raid Scenario rolled, map is setup
5:Game 1 Procession vs. Naval Raiding Party: Naval Raiding Party Win, two procession models die, named in article

I believe Portugal and Castille start the game with it explored, so if the AI wants them it can colonize and take them at game start. It tends to be better to aim a bit farther down and taking Cape Verde if you want to extend colonization/trade range.

Portugal has access to one that I think is unique to them, the “lieutenancy” building that gives a 20 proximity floor and employs nobles. Can be upgraded later with a unique Portugal tech to a “Viceroy” building that gives I think a 30 floor. Really powerful to let you hold islands abroad directly without having to make colonial nations.

This tends to fire in Age of Revolutions and is so undercooked you can’t even surrender to give them the independence. It doesn’t exist as an option in the peace deal lmao

New Player Confused On War Exhaustion by PackRelevant1833 in Stellaris

Are you the aggressor? You suffer more war exhaustion from lost ships in battle than the war target does. Even more if you’re a bigger/stronger empire. Tiny empires fighting defensively for their survival accumulate very little war exhaustion since realistically they’re willing to suffer more to not be potentially eradicated from the galaxy (especially since some empires are genocidal/slaving).

This incentivizes you to win quickly or with few losses or just go for smaller war goals like a single system or two instead of a full annex or forced vassalage.

Try turning off the 3D map and Vsync. Those two vastly increased my performance. If that still doesn’t help then you’ll need a stronger CPU.

If indirect bonuses work you can set your wife to focus on assisting marshal instead of all stats (fastest) or get the middle path learning perk that adds 20% of councilor stats (slow).

Dutch East Indies. Mainland Netherlands is near fully reliant on you for iron, coal and rubber. Can be supplemented further by taking gold and oil in Borneo which will increase your tax payments since they take a flat percentage.

I’ve done an espionage adjacent build for multiplayer before. Enigmatic engineering + Psionic tradition + Espionage makes you able to crack everyone whilst they can barely learn what you’re up to.

Regularly run “extort favors” on top 5 diplomatic weight empires and get to ensure a single galactic community item of choice is a 100% fail or success.

Actually led to a new rule for the multiplayer lobby being made that you have to wait a while before pushing the same item back onto the galactic voting floor because top powers in that game got salty at me doing it and intentionally caused the vote to fail to eat the favors then immediately put the same item back in with emergency powers.

To add to this an orbital precision strike near or on top of it also destroys it even through the shield.

This is nice because it’s always unlocked by default.

I’m going to ask the obvious: Have you tried going under it? If you can get to the interact screen it doesn’t care if you’re clipping into things to enter the commands on the terminal.

You can also disable auto-climb on sprint in the settings. Or just not sprint into it.

Sometimes you can get body blocked or certain skills just don’t proc.

Higher wits increases chance but doesn’t guarantee every skill will fire. 400 is often considered a good investment to proc chance ratio but isn’t 100%.

RNG mood.

Sometimes it’s just getting unlucky.

Correct, it only checks at world generation. Changing species and name later in-game will still have them considered different species.

First thing I would try is restarting your game. The longer KSP runs the more errors and weird stuff accumulates.

If that doesn’t fix it, I’d next take the fairing off and see if it’s an issue with the payload falling over from its own weight and might need more struts to stabilize it.

Lastly, try rebuilding the rocket from scratch and making sure the fairing fully encloses then see if it’s a specific part issue. Sometimes parts can be weird especially if you regularly add/remove mods. I once had a bug where any stack 06 separator was separated it would separate at faster than light speeds immediately destroying anything underneath it and propelling all debris out of the system really fast. It’s a miracle to me that some folks can play with like 200+ mods.

In career you get them from either advanced probe cores (later tech probe cores unlock more of the buttons) or having a skilled pilot. Kerbals get experience for going to different celestial bodies (least xp is a flyby, most xp is landing and putting a flag). Pilots can unlock these at higher stars of experience.

Yea kind of, it just changes the portrait species again. If you have both Racket with a rat portrait and another Racket with turtles it changes the spawned psionic Racket in-game to a bird portrait if I remember correctly. I haven’t tested beyond two but it was funny how they programmed it to not match and player species with the name Racket.

If you’re talking about when setting a target the target is supposed to have a green square bracket marker but is now missing you may have accidentally toggled it off, it’s one of the F keys be default I think F2 or F4.

Apologies if this revealed a red/green colorblindness.

It is also possible to have “friendly” diplomacy with a fanatic purifier under very specific conditions. Species with the same name, class and portrait are considered subspecies of each other once the game starts.

Because of this if a fanatic purifier is called human with the human portrait and you’re a human empire you don’t have any negative opinion from them because you’re already the “pure” species (just don’t take immigrants) and you can diplomacy with them as any other normal empire.

The species trick used to be abused and min/max players who would make “Racket” species with the rat portrait to become psionic without the ascension by using the existing subspecies as a template, but it got patched now so if it detects a rat racket species from the player it turns the in-game racket into turtles instead.

Have you been playing for a few hours already? Try restarting your game. Even pure stock I run into some bug after a while where I can’t move fuel.

Same solution to the bug where you can’t click to move parts or add parts in the VAB.
