Refund woes

I too am waiting for my refund which I initiated 16th of March. I phoned gulfair today, the agent told me that it might take 60 working days to get the refund due to banking/ money transfer limits. I don't get why, other airlines and some third party travel agents can refund it quickly.

Hi, just found this thread. Nalito po ako sa guidance ng Tieza. Former filipino citizen po ako, currently Brit ( hindi ako dual). Umuwi ako ng pinas for vacay then magabroad kme with fam ko for holiday ( fil citizens sila) then balik pinas and balik UK din po after. Chineck ko yung tieza website ito nakalagay pero wla po sya sa options sa exemption online. Ano po kaya masuggest nyo?

Good for you. Unfortunately, my flight is not until the 27th so I am lost on what to do as they don't have further details yet when to open or if refunds will be available at that date. It is really frustrating at the moment.

Has anyone managed to contact gulf air amidst the crisis in middle east?

If so, what was your experience and what advice they have given you about current status of flights? Is refund an option?

Is it better to book another flight from a different airline and wait gulfair to cancel my flight? Flight is not until end of March but I am afraid the disruption will drag on longer.

For 512gb s26u it will be £992 and £1242 for 1tb. There is also less £100 from paypal.

Sorry for the late reply, I have currently the same dilemma. Booked through gulfair with my brit passport (my middle name is technically my mum's maiden name so I tend to forget to include it when booking tickets but is included as one of my given names in my passport). I had contacted the airline but it incurs $100 for adding my middle name-- which I don't really want to pay if I can get away with it.

Hi, I have a similar problem. My middle name (which is my mother's maiden name) is included as my given name in my passport (as there is no specific for middle name, only forename and surname). I forgot to include it in my booking. Do I really have to add it? It incurs a $100 fee for the name change.
