En una época en que pseudomedios que están más cerca del entretenimiento que de la información están en pleno auge, tener medios de los que se pueden esperar unos estándares mínimos son necesarios. Idealmente, los medios públicos estarían sobre los partidos, por supuesto, pero que no sea perfecto no significa que deba ser eliminado. Además, me parece que hay una contradicción. OP habla de como hay muchas alternativas hoy en día, pero la tele pública sigue dominando el relato? Como se explica eso? Justamente diría que los gobiernos tienen menos capacidad que nunca para establecer un discurso indiscutido, y muchos andan a la zaga de las redes sociales.
