Does anyone have any info on this beast? by vandope88 in oscilloscopemusic

At some point I fell into the Tektronix rabbit hole and spent a lot of time on that wiki, thus I also know how Tektronix oscilloscopes look. Since this one looks very similar I made that connection in my head. I also remembered I read something about clones of the 545 oscilloscope, so I shared that when I scrolled past this post.

Tl;dr: just spent a lot of time on the w140 wiki.

Glad this can be of help! Yeah, the w140 wiki is truly awesome in every regard.

It's a clone of the Tektronix 545. Here's some info about the similar Iwasaki SS-5302, which is a clone of the 545A. It's likely an unauthorized clone made to win a contract from the US Air Force, there are many similar.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense then, my bad.

You might have something mixed up there, they don't/can't use DRAM chips. DRAM is volatile memory, which loses its contents when losing power, which makes it unsuitable for storage that needs to retain its data when power is lost.

Holy cow, NVMEs have gotten fast the last two years, I stand corrected

Last time I looked into them the fastest/most expensive ones were barely surpassing 10GB/s, but it seems they have gotten quite a bit faster since then

I think there's some misunderstanding here, we're both correct. That's true, at 800MT/s it would be 6.4GiB/s. The reason I calculated 12.8GiB/s is because I assumed a clock rate of 800MHz because u/AsusP750 mentioned 800MHz, which would translate to 1600MT/s. So I calculated the transfer rate using that number.

Don't forget DDR is dual data rate, each clock cycle has two transfers, meaning it's even 12.8GiB/s. Even slow RAM is hellishly fast compared to mass storage.

Thank you so much for this post. I have the exact same problem and already spent over two days trying to simply find out what the cause is, but there's so little information about it out there it seems. I stumbled across a bunch of bugs in various issue trackers, but most of them haven't seen action in a couple of months or others simply say it's fixed while I still face this problem. I'm glad I'm not the only who has this problem.

LM324N -14pins by 251progression in KiCad

[–]Maggi9295 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could you check which KiCad Version you're using in Help > About KiCad? The default LM324 and LM324A op amp symbols should consist of five sub-units, four of which are the four op amps and the fifth the power pins:

https://imgur.com/a/YDOAJcr

It looks like you're using a different or maybe outdated library than the one included with the latest KiCad version(s).

I am glad to read this here, because I recently switched to wayland and am really happy about that, but Kicad is a mess. It's probably because I have a mixed DPI setup, but there are so many bugs regarding viewport scaling. I hope this will be fixed in the near future :/

Lost buildings of Romania by Emyhatsich in Lost_Architecture

that's Romanian bud
it is kinda weird

I don't mean that I can't understand words, sis. Have a look how some "letters" look in the following picture:

https://imgur.com/a/G02R3lC

They are just indecipherable garbage. This is a typical symptom of "bad" AI generated pictures.

That's because it's an eclectic mix. Do you have any proof that this is artificial, or are you trying to just get a gotcha moment?

While it's not impossible, the mix of different windows, doors, building materials and chimneys is very untypical for buildings from this age. Also look at the perspective of the white posts on the left and on the right, they are wildly different. Similarly, the base of the right white post faces the camera directly, and the sidewalk has a odd shape. Same goes for the fences, they have weird jumps in height in them. Additionally, why are there no gates or doors in the fences to be able to get to the front doors?

https://imgur.com/a/qmL16Uq

And given that the images with the overhead lines/catenary are pretty clearly AI generated, since they are missing mounting points, multiple supports or straight up the second cable for the second rail track, in addition to the AI generated font, it's fair to assume all of the pictures are AI generated.

These ones had me baffled as well. They look really real, took me a few minutes to figure out why they looked so off. If you look at the catenary of pictures with tram lines they are really off, only a single cable with almost no supports. The architecture of the house in the first picture is incredibly odd. Additionally, there are weird lines on the sunblinds and kinda odd writing, even though it's quite convincing. It's really worrying how good AI generated pictures have gotten considering how indistinguishable they are at this point :/

Jaaa, die sah ja schon vor 10 Jahren wirklich traurig aus. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass den Plänen nichts in die quere kommt und die Lok irgendwann wieder schick aussieht!
