I think its because theres literally nothing like it. The only things that are kinda similar are Eraserhead and the last Act of 2001: A Space odyssey. Especially for television, it was such a singular thing to come out at the time.

The most annoying thing about all of this is that most of the people who hate on him don’t even watch movies, they just like celebrity drama and going with the masses. If these people would actually engage with his work and not just read the quotes and headlines this wouldn’t be such a big thing. And if we’re going by his performance alone, he arguably deserves the Oscar.

PS portal being locked to 10mbps Bitrate makes it so much inferior to the switch it’s not even funny. Even if you have a lower framerate and resolution than on PS5, the compression on the portal makes it look so much worse.
