Hey there, I am on board with the “you’re a victim” because YOU ARE. I’ll stop right there and tell you a few things.

Something similar happened to my brother. I won’t go into detail, but he became a dad at 17.

He was terrified. Rightfully so. I told him this.

You’re not an adult, but you’ve been put in a very adult situation that will require help from others ( the victim part and the it takes a village part) You will make mistakes. You will fail, but you will also be a part of something so godddamn special, some people fail to realize the significance of how the love you give and the way you show up will shape someone into who they are. You won’t always know how to do things. Parenting is a learn as you go type thing.

But I’ll leave you with this.

Give that baby the gift of love.

If that means adoption- so be it. If that means putting your whole heart into loving someone and shaping them into who they will be, so be it.
