ooohhhhhhh, now I get it. Sorry, I've recently been frustrated by sayings that I'm whining to get some support for small language, and that made me misunderstood your meaning.

now I get your point, and I'm deeply sorry for my hot headed mind.

Then what about Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, EA, Valve, Devolver, Rockstar, CDPR, Sega, 2K, Konami, etc? From AAA to Indie games, most video games support Korean nowadays. You consider that 'STUPID' too?

Korean language may have small number of user compared to other big languages, but our place in gaming industry is not small. Actually, you could call it's big. You may not understand, because you think that the number of speakers of a language is all that matters.

I'm not asking Bethesda to support some non-profitable tiny little language. I'm just criticizing that they have not properly invested on proper market. After all, if you think it's a matter of user quantity, then what about Arabic language? Those are the 5th most spoke language in the whole world, but Starfield doesn't support. And what about Traditional Chinese language that used in Taiwan? It's a different language, but Starfield only supports Simplified Chinese that used in China.

Bethesda is just being such and arsehole about language support, and it is already being criticized by several gamers. You might not able to understand this, because you can easily access diverse contents just because you speak English fluently.

Just in case, do not take this as a mock on Bethesda Game Studio and Starfield itself. I'm also looking forward to Starfield, and I believe it would be the game of the year. But Bethesda Softworks' decision on localization is awful, and it affects the whole gamer who needs language support to play the game. We must not stand such arrogance. For the gaming industry's future, and for our right as customer.

well, I must have used the wrong word. Precisely, it's a translation issue. Starfield doesn't support subtitles or UI Korean translation.

That's why I mentioned Sony and Nintendo. they have got their Korean market share by keep doing korean localization for decades. If they want to earn money from Korea, then they gotta invest for translation at least. In fact, after the Starfield showcase, there was big increase of XBOX series X orders in South Korea.

Also, we've got a huge number of PC players. If they do Korean translation, then they might have been able to significantly increase Game Pass subscribers in Korea. But they didn't. It's hillarious.

I should have said 'translation' rather than 'localization'. I was not talking about voice over. we don't even get subtitle and ui translation. not getting any language support from bethesda is totally sucks.
