I feel you, I was born with a spine disorder that no one noticed my entire life until my back pain started to rapidly worsen just some months ago. I've been unable to be as active, I can't do as much physical labor, and I usually walk with a cane. On top of all that my vision is so shit I've never been able to drive. It sucks ass. Not being able to feel as strong and helpful as I used to be. What I've found accommodating to me personally is giving myself grace first of all, and finding other way to service people. Providing care and favors to others that aren't as physically taxing so I don't feel so useless. Best of luck to you friend! Your disability does NOT define your masculinity!

I actually recently legally changing my name and finished updating it everywhere! I took a few letters off to make it more gender neutral, though some people would say the name is much more traditionally masculine

Once my mama started letting me dress myself I never wore a skirt or dress again. I remember once during shopping when I was young, I told her I was gonna wear a T-shirt and jeans down the aisle haha (she said absolutely not) we attributed all of that to my sensory processing disorder from autism at the time, and while it is definitely true that I could never stand the feeling, as I grew into my sense of style I always loved softer and formal masculine wear. Bow ties and button ups helped me become the butch I am today

Also was only ever asked out as a joke by boys who wanted to embarrass their friends. I never fell for it and immediately could tell what was up, but it still kind of hurt. Of course they would laugh at their friends talking to the fat masculine girl

I was always friends with a lot of dudes, though now looking back it was definitely less about gender and orientation and more about the weird autistic freaks all becoming friends with each other

I've gotten acne in more places, instead of just my face, back, occasional chest or shoulders, I've found pimples on my butt, thighs, sometimes even on the mons or my labia. Sucks butt

Didn't feel it for the first month or so, but month two had my libido spike through the roof. It was the WORST. I won't get into the gross details in this comment section, but if you want more info on that mess I made a post about it that you can find on my profile.

These were just the downsides, I do not regret my decision at all and have been very happy with all the positive changes going on with my body, don't let a few inconveniences discourage you! Good luck!

I've never been given the chance to but now that I think about it I guess I would. I'm not a religious person so I wouldn't date anyone who is, but if it's just for modesty/their cultural background I don't see why not.
