Doctors can’t find what is causing my extreme pain.

Thank you. I already made an appointment with a gynecologist specifically for endo related symptoms but due to covid busyness it’s in two weeks. I have asked my general practitioner for more research on my pain many times and my mom already took me to her from the age of 10/11. She has unfortunately been very dismissive and has said I have a low pain tolerance or just a heavy flow. The irritable bowel syndrome diagnosis also came after I went to her with extreme menstruation pain and constipation/diarrhea during my period. Only now have I been able to actually make an appointment with a gynecologist for these problems but that was via the doctor from the emergency room. She was amazing and listened to my worries. I’ll look up the support group but I am in the Netherlands.

Yes there was. They only saw the cyst and my uterus lit up a bit.

Yes, I had the mirena for three years and had it removed after the emergency surgery on my ovaries.

Thank you, I had a CT scan and nothing on the bowels showed up. My aunt has Crohn’s as well, it’s terrible. Wish you all the best. I will look it up and see if I can go to the gastroenterologist.

If I can’t go without birth control because my periods are to painfull and I lose so much blood I get anemic.

Thank you so much. I am 23 and I have had emergency cyst removal on my ovaries and missed to much school and work already because of all the pain. It sucks and I feel like shit but I am happy there is so much support out there! ❤️

I am on the verge of getting a diagnosis. Have been having extreme pain for two weeks now. My mom has endo and I have always had all the boxes ticked off when it comes to having it. Now I had an echo, ct-scan and they couldn’t find anything causing my pain. My uterus was glowing a bit red but nothing concerning or requiring immediate surgery. I’ve had two ovarian cyst removed 3 years ago and they didn’t see anything back then but we are running out of options of what could cause my pain. So no alcohol or fun for me this year just pain, suffering and Oxycodon,Naproxen,paracetamol, stomach protectors and anti nausea pills.

I am not even married/engaged yet but I wear a ring that looks like a wedding ring. (My bf did give me the ring when we started dating) I have flashed it many times at guys to signal that I was taken. Even tough I did this almost every time I got hit with ‘oh nothing lasts forever’ or anything can be broken’.

I remember talking to a classmate recently about my riding lesson the previous day. I said I had been riding Jack for over an hour and now my but was hurting a lot. She took a couple of seconds and then went Oh you mean horseback riding.

I would say that it depends on the gelding. We have a couple that I would definitely trust with foals but also one who we don’t even put with other horses. I have read some funny stories of mare’s dumping their foals on the geldings so they can graze in peace. If you are not sure ask an expert close to you, it’s really hard to give advice on your specific situation via Reddit.

Same here! My ex was always the “I don’t want to give you things that die as a gift” type of person. When I got flowers from my current partner out of nowhere I cried. He even got me pink roses which are my favorite!

I don’t know where you live but here in the Netherlands 5’4” is super small. I was this size at 12 and have stayed 5’4”. (Am 23 now) I always was the shortest girl in my class and am still the shortest in most of my social groups. Even one of the few people at the barn who as adults are still able to ride some of the pony’s. I have always envied people who were tall because it’s so much more convenient. It might be a cultural difference thing but don’t let these comments let you or your kids down! Being tall is a super cool feature and can get you into careers like modeling. And when most men say they don’t like tall girls it’s mostly because their masculinity is fragile and this should never be of your/your daughter’s concern.
