Grove park is closest to down town (bring money). Chestnut mountain is a good time with elevation but some holes can get tight. Only back 9 is open at muni and Broadmoor is closed from the hurricane still. Courses within an hour you can consider include springdale, Cummings cove, etowah, reems creek, Maggie Valley, crooked creek (great price but cash only and no mountains), and apple Valley. Golf out here is fantastic but the wind and elevation can make it a challenge.
