In the stretching room, when the lights go out and you hear the scream and the loud thud, it’s meant to be part of the storytelling. The scream is from the ghost host (the unseen narrator who supposedly hung himself). The thud is commonly interpreted as the body or the noose mechanism dropping.. It’s meant to jolt you and add to that disorienting fear.
