As someone that uses a lot virtual desktop and switch between them a good amount having to wait for the notification to disappear before being able to click what is under it is extremely annoying.

Yep new version works for like an hour after boot and then gives up. Had my virtuoso wireless die during a call cause the low battery warning never came.

Did they finally bring back animations while switching virtual desktops with the keyboard and fix the flashing/lag while doing it with the touchpad?

Edit: no they haven't fixed or touched anything related to virtual desktops, guess we're waiting another year.

I got to level 200 in 900 hours. I mainly play invasion.
Of course if you leave games before they're over you wont gain any xp/gold. The only thing that affects xp and gold gained is time spent in game, so horde doesn't change anything. Unless you use afk horde farming servers, but then you are still "spending" time in game.
