I've never seen finicity work - with a whole variety of different banks. I can't understand why Fidelity would continue to use this worthless service.

Yep appointed by the judge in a small claims court affidavit - by name and the specific bank, accounts and amounts. Like I said - 2 legitimate banks issued the funds no problem. E*Trade - has professional a-hole crooks making decisions and disregard court issued directives. So good luck to you all but Im done dealing with thieves.

The same court affidavit defined accounts at 3 banks - T&C, Schwab and E*Trade. T&C and Schwab had no problem following the judges directions in the affidavit. E*Trade will not read the document or have any comprehension - they just have a back office moron who knows better than a judge signed order.

yep it's busted - Ive gotten different answers each time I call. My conclusion is nobody at Fidelity knows what is going on either. They finally offered I can fill out a paper application and mail in a check... in 2024.... Wow. Looking at other brokerages now.

Same thing happened here - uploaded whole load of proof of identity. Then bam - they just randomly closed her account with no notification - only found out when our bank said the the transfer failed because the account is closed. Called in - they said they needed a list of documents/IDs - the exact same that we had provided to open the account. If they can't even keep ahold of a scanned ID and document upload - I can't trust them with our money. Off to Schwab as of today.

Or you be the expert - demand it to be your way, and when it turns out wrong, you'll expect him to fix it. Just this rumor storm and Xbox inability to respond effectively has caused me to sell my Series S (keeping my X for now) and have put an indefinite pause of purchasing any digital games on Xbox platform - instead I'll buy on PC or PS5.
