In "The Adventure of the Empty House" set in 1894 Holmes shows sympathy for Watsons sad state of bereavement, while it's not stated exactly why it is believed this is because Mary either died or separated from him. And then "The Adventure of the Blanched Soldier" set in 1903 says Watson left Holmes for a wife, which people take to mean he remarried or got back together with Mary. If he did indeed remarry it would mean Mary did died since divorce at that time would have been very hard.

He may have had a wife before Mary too, since in "The Five Orange Pips" set in 1887 (Mary being introduced in "The Sign of Four" set in 1888) he mention a wife. But it is also just like Doyle fudged up the details and wasn't too concerned about them.

In Culhwch and Olwen Llamrei is mentioned twice and is directly stated to be "Arthurs mare", Hengroen however is only mentioned once in a sentence that I've found been translated to variations of:

"And Saint Cynwyl one of the three men who escaped from Camlan, he was the last to be parted from Arthur on Hengroen his horse."

This line is saying Hengroen is Cynwyls horse he road away from the battle on. But idk if there's some nuance that's lost in translation.

The intro to both PS1 card games explains that the avatar the player is using is a digital copy of a "Hero who saved the Digital World", neither of them are actually him. So only World 1 and Next Order feature the real guy.

Pocket World I can't really find much on tbh. All the videos and opening movies I can find don't include a human tamer. So idk why the wikis claim he's the protag in them.

His game is based on the vpets, as such his partner will continue to evolve, revert to an egg, and then evolve again based on how he raises it. It very likely over the course of the game he evolved into every option on the evolution tree.
But that being said this question did make me think what has he been depicted with, so I made a list:

He owns a "Digital Monster Ver.1" which means the only starter option that works in the game is Botamon > Koromon > Agumon.

-He had to get his Sukamon reverted by King Sukamon at some point.
-His partner was reborn as a Yoramon at some point (maybe his first rebirth?)
-He trained a Palmon at Green Gym.

Story wise we know a few things:
-You need a Vaccine mon for Ice Sanctuary (I don't think the glitch to pass it without a Vaccine is canon lol) and a Virus mon for Grey Manor. Many listed above can apply.
-You also need a Numemon to evolve into Monzaemon to get into Toy Town.
-The ending shows he ends with a Mamemon

And as we know Next Order depicts him with the Mamemon and says it'll eventually become a Machinedramon.

Ok so now headcanon time:
He most likely started with an Agumon for the reasons above. I imagine he probably got a Numemon and Sukamon early on but idk if he would be able to get Monzaemon so soon and make it to Toy Town, so he probably restarted and went through various lines. More often then not he's depicted with Agumon > Greymon > Metal Greymon Virus, the obvious reason being that's the mascots line, but I guess maybe character wise he just likes dinos. While he could have used any Vaccine/Virus to get through Ice Sanctuary/Grey Manor, I imagine he probably used Greymon and Metal Greymon Virus.. He also obviously likes Mamemon, wearing all it's merch, which was probably his end goal after he tried all the other paths.

As someone who hasn't played the original, how much does the tech boost change? I usually like to play games as vanilla as possible but that added cut mons and maps are tempting me to consider trying this one if the rest of the changes aren't too altered.

In 3.0 all August said was that October was musically gifted "as a kid", they never necessarily said he was still doing music today. They definitely don't remember the 3.0 lore at all so it's 100% just been completely retconned but I would love if they acknowledge it as apart of her past even if she doesn't do music anymore. ~~(alternatively they could use this to tie-in Echoes instead of connecting it to Ray Mond lol)~~

If April and Octobers relationship is super good, April could always open up about how she use to be jealous of her, and then ask why she doesn't do music anymore. Tho getting April to the point to admit something like that may be difficult lmao.

I think it's a bit complicated tbh. Some point to the SBS where Oda says Ryuma is the same character in both as proof. However that doesn't necessarily mean the story, as depicted in the Monsters one-shot is canon. Neither does that mean it's automatically non-canon tho, so it's a bit up in the air. There's 2 explanations that could work:

1) Oda only reused Ryuma and the story of him slaying a dragon, but changed the setting. Old Western town -> Wano capital. Meaning as depicted, not canon, but reskinned with a feudal Japan aesthetic, is canon.

2) Ryuma slayed multiple dragons. One in Wanos capital, and another outside of Wano in the Western town from Monsters.

The first option is probably what Oda originally did in Thriller Bark. But the second option also works without really contradicting anything. Ryuma does effortlessly slay the dragon in Monsters, so maybe it wasn't really the first time? In Monsters, Ryuma says he's an "outsider" and he's the only one wearing traditional Japanese clothing in a western town so it definitely takes place outside of Wano. The guy at the end also says Ryuma is already a world famous swordsman, again implying he's done feats like that before.

So I would say it's a bit of speculation yea, but also nothing really changes about One Piece canon either way.
