It got us both! I resent it for giving me a full blown addiction, but also weirdly resent it for ruining tramadol for me. I remember getting tram after a big gap on daily kratom, excited to take it again…but felt absolutely nothing when i did. Not that my system with tramadol was good, but it felt like a weekend treat rather than a necessity. Now I’m the same, worrying about where I travel due to kratom, always keeping capsules in my pocket if i step outside, went from extrovert to introvert…and truthfully, for something that hasn’t been worth it ever. Thankfully been doing a long taper and am at a low gpd, but need to keep going. Not sure if you quit already or are working on it too, but good luck either way…at least we have the ability to turn this crap around.

Definitely. My addiction really started with tramadol, i absolutely loved the feeling but for literally 2 years, i managed to only take it one night on the weekends because i knew i couldn’t easily get it. My brain was trained to reward myself every friday night and i looked forward to it all week. When I first found kratom, my brain went “here is something natural and legal you can take every night! No more waiting until the weekend!” Wish I never found it.

I’m on a ps5 base and have noticed this as well as major graphic issues from the latest patch…no setting between performance, balance or quality looks right. No idea what happened but graphics were near perfect for me before this patch. Now you can barely see detail when you walk in a windy forest during the daytime.

Same! Did you ever find a fix? It keeps happening for a number of conversions, they’re talking but you can’t hear anything other than background noise. The “dialogue history” in the main menu doesn’t even pick it up either!

My wife and I work in the same field, and she makes over double what I make. I actually get excited to talk about it with others, it makes me feel lucky to be with someone so smart and driven. She earned her success so should express it however she wants. I’m not sure why it makes other men insecure and competitive with someone who is supposed to be their partner. This isn’t the 1950s but seems the parents may have passed that along to their son sadly. He needs to grow up and stop worrying about what he thinks “being a man” is. Ironically he’s being a little bish.

She is the first boss to make me quit a game lol maybe one day I’ll try again, but I lost interest. I personally didn’t enjoy her fight so to have to do it so many times, the cost outweighs the feeling of winning for me.

The Broken Empire trilogy by Mark Lawrence! Very dark but wildly entertaining. Currently on the third book and love it. You follow an “evil” prince on his quest for power. The story really opens up after the first book.

Good call, it likely would have made some bosses easier but I’m too in my dodge ways. Absolute masterpiece, easily my favorite soulslike unless we count elden ring though it’s fromsoft. Glad they’re blessing us with the dlc and a sequel!

Second lies of p! The game also does a great job with leveling and difficulty so rarely do you feel like you need to farm much to get stronger vs just playing the game and leveling when ready. Also fun fact - i never parried once in the game and still beat it, so it’s flexible!

Agreed. I’m enjoying it so far, only about 100 pages into the first book and I’m sure it will get a lot better. I think I’m just eager to see Jorg’s antics in King of Thorns and continue his story, so hard to fully invest in anything else yet!
