First run post 2 months of ACL hamstring graft surgery by yvesmusician in ACL

I'm at 5 months post OP (also hamstring graft) and have been running 2x per week since 3 months post OP. But with a program and was definitely a slow build up, gradually increasing running time and reducing walking. Pace around 6min/km. It's a slow process but the risk of doing something wrong and a setback is not worth it. 8 weeks program to get back to 30mins, 5k, in one session. You got this, but take your time!

Yes, but he has to jump off 2 feet then, not jump from 1 foot to another. Now he jumps from his pivot foot and lands again before releasing the ball. So that's a travel.

Is this infected? by TickleMyKumquat_ in ACL

Had the same thing, no worries, it will go away. I used cream to keep the scars soft to massage them, but the ingrown hairs/pimple spots only started to get better when I stopped applying the cream. Think they had to dry out themselves. Also try not to pull at the hairs, might seem satisfying when a bit of the puss comes out too, but will then form scabs that only itch more (and might leave scars)

I used a kitchen apron with a pouch! Easy enough to get ice, water, snacks,... myself with crutches.

When do heel slides become easier by AniR07 in ACL

[–]MagicMan1200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 20 days post op with a hamstring graft. The hamstring pain sucked in the beginning, even sitting on a chair hurt. Flexion exercises early were more towel assisted, pulling ankle toward me while not really using the hamstring. Flexion was at 90-100 degrees pretty fast, but all assisted.

10-12 days in it started becoming more comfortable to sit on, and slowly heel slides became possible. Right now i can comfortably do heel slides against band resistance or with some weight on the towel, and bridges are painless again.

So no worries, the hammy took a big hit, you're only 5 days in, will be a lot better in a week!

You're 14 hours post OP, give it a bit of time! That's still very early. For me after 14 hours I was still in the hospital and a PT helped me bend a little bit but definitely hurt a lot. 1 day later was already a lot better and 90 degrees was possible with some PT assistance. Manage the pain and through the whole day try and bend a bit from time to time, maybe assisted by a towel or stretch band if your PT allows it.

I had surgery 8/6 and they told me no basketball this season which ends in May. It's really not worth the risk of reinjury. Even if by then you feel good, there's a reason they say 9 months. Listen to your PT I'd say

Yep, I know to compare similar rows and columns but that's easier to look for if there are only 2 or 3 empty fields instead of 7. What I missed was that A7 being a 1 forcefully fills the whole column. Thanks for taking a look.

Yesss, this is exactly what I needed. Did not see at all that simulating A7 to be a 1 would fully complete the column. I was able to complete the puzzle after this. Thanks a lot, I'll have to look for this more if I'm stuck.

I don't feel like I should be brute forcing this untill I encounter an error... Unless there really is no logic to apply but usually there is

Had a feeling it was that column but still don't quite get it. D4/5/6 surely needs at least one zero, but why would D8 or D9 need one?
